It seems Karim had little less accuracy with its claim card than during the olympics, but again it was very well coached as it was the third round, he has nothing to lose and it could have seatle the game, too bad again. New taekwondo is very amazing regarding the skill of front leg kick actions required, but again during this fight, Jaouad had at least 3 times the opportunities to counter Dae-Hon attacks with his right rear leg either with a direct pandal chagi or dwit chagi or even their mom dollyo variants. I don't think Dae-Hon was faster than Jaouad, may be a little bit more explosive when entering into action, thus it worth the try, no ? This is typical with the tactics the new rules implies: rear leg attacks direct attacks are prohibited but what about rear leg counter attacks ?! Funny, the usage of twist kick (bidolyo chagi) are now more accurate than the pendal chagi thanks to the electronic protection !! May be Karim should ask Jaouad, at the last round of a final, to take more risks by countering more often with his rear leg, or attacking with mom dollyo techniques, just to avoid losing the fight in the last ten seconds of the match: losing for losing, again it may be worth the try... Easy to say, not to do, I know ! ;-) May be Jaouad was a little bit exhausted or sore after this brilliant 2016 seasons... Keep the faith and keep training hard with Karim, the rest will follow !

Sensor scores them. If the kick doesn't have enough power, it doesn't score.
