I was hesitant to listen to this story because of the reviews I read.. next time I won't read the comments before I listen. I enjoyed this book. And being in recovery .. it was a welcomed addition to follow her in relapse and recovery. The shame she feels in that one meeting is a very real and palpable feeling. I'm glad I chose this story. Ty to everyone who put it together. The author of course, but also the ones who brought it to life in audio. Give it a chance if you're trying to decide. 😊
I have listened to over 10 titles by this author. This one has a different tone because the action is narrated through so many viewpoints. But, I think it's definitely one of her best works.
This was a wonderful mystery novel. I enjoyed it immensely! Narrator was excellent. I will definitely look for more books by this brilliant author. Thank you so much for the great entertainment. ❤
Okay, I have been listening to these ‘Mary Burton’ books very grateful because being visually impaired. I’ve been impressed! Not 5stars impressed but I kept listening. I can’t get around this one, don’t want to be a spoiler alert gal, just this is awful!! I don’t know what the heck went wrong with this book!! So I thought I’d share my thoughts on it, I don’t see any other reviews yet 🤷♀️
I'm an hour or so in and I'm struggling with this one's vibe too 🤔 will give another hour to seeing it picks up but may have to come back to it another time!
