该剧改编自亦舒经典同名小说。

►Synopsis:
Mai Chenghuan, who comes from an ordinary family in Shanghai, was urged by her mother, Mrs. Liu, to discuss marriage with her boyfriend Xin Jialiang. Finally they said what they want from each other,respect what she is now ,understand not to interfare when she is at work and have a responsability to make the hotel be the best because she is the boss lady.

When mum puts her head on daughter's shoulders to be comforted, that's a crucial moment between mum an her grown up daughter, the relationship changes. Now the daughter is trusted to take over the lead. So good if it happens in real life.
So far this is the best episode to date. Yang Zi made me cry so much. Love how she talked to her mom to clear the air & showed her love for Mom & family. Reflects on our true family issues in reality. Love this series ❤

I think you skip the palaces where heroin's mother's acting. There are so many places to prove her love for her daughter. And I was angry because she makes trouble in the hotel while heroin conducting a meeting. All mothers are like that. Their love works before their brain.
Anyway then they share their ideas about each other at the kitchen in this episode.
Previous episodes also shows the love of mom for her daughter.
Feel sad😭for Chenghaun saying she fear to talk with her mom thinking she could slap her again it's time for this woman to let her daughter have free mind and live a peaceful life good father to her children but the woman doesn't know the responsibility of being a mother zinyu made me smile telling yao to act as her brother and that he deserves to be happy which is right

The talk was nice..but imo it was just the start. The mom has actively done so many hurtful and doesn't think of her daughter. Shames and humulitaes her in public after not listening and trying to marry her off, this is after getting involved with business affairs. Then people tell her dont go to your daughters work she doesnt listen. Even in the talk she had her back facing her daighter still kinda hurtful.
