Dude this is one of the founding fathers of metalcore you have to check out more of their music its incredible
The Fall of Ideals is still one of the best metalcore records of all time but they lost me on their later albums. This sounds like a more modern version of early ATR and im so here for it. Cant wait for the album. One of my most anticipated of the year.
All That Remains is a Metalcore OG. One of the greatest bands ever.
ATM have been around for AGES I'm surprised you've never heard of them 'Two Weeks' is a classic
I remember finding ATR, with their song "Two Weeks" years ago. I still keep an eye on them every now and again.
Jason Richardson is one of the guitarist. The guy is a menace on the guitar.
Yeah, All That Remains has been around forever.
A number of things you mentioned like Phil sounding like whomever, he has all the metalcore stances, etc you have backwards...he's one of the OG front men and they're one of the ones that founded and established the sub genre.
Just been a while since Ollie passed, is why they've been absent for a while. Jason Richardson has joined in place of Ollie and the drummer is ex-Shadow of Intent.
Well, you couldn't be more wrong on founded and established the sub-genre. In the mid 1900s bands like Converge, Earth Crisis and Zao were the pioneers of this sub-genre. Then you had bands like Killswitch Engage, All That Remains, As I Lay Dying, and Unearth reshape it in the early 2000s.
What these guys said
Please so a reaction to Kevin Sherwood and Elena Siegman's Pareidolia. It's one of the less recognized and talked about songs from the two, and it's incredibly powerful in a way that a lot of metal I have listened to isn't. Sends shivers down my spine everytime I hear it
