City of Arlington, Tx Monthly Outdoor Warning Siren Test March 2, 2011

City of Arlington, TX Siren Test, March 2,2011. Stationed at Siren 12. Test was good. First test is with electricity, second is battery back up. The voices being heard is the HAM Radio Net that Arlington holds for the test so the OEM can have immediate test results, you can hear me outside the car on my HT, a Wouxun KG-UVD1P Dual Bander, for the first report, but due to interference in first report, I moved to the mobile rig in the car, Yaseu FT-2600M, for the second report. For anyone that wants to participate or listen, you need to tune to 147.140MHz with a PL tone of 110.9Hz.

in arlington? mainly as of 2020 they have a modulator 6024 and the rest of their sirens are 2001-130s
