They could have held a floor vote on the spot to have every member of the board terminated from public employment then had the deputies remove them from the property and trespass them after the vote passes. they could have easily done that, but they chose not to hold their elected officials accountable.

I am proud of her. All parents need to take their children under their wing and fight for them against corruption. A parent should be able to walk in a child's classroom at anytime. You are responsible for your child. They are not responsible. Good job parents.
A parent should be able to walk into a child's classroom, but they also should know that their child is safe from anyone who wanders in. These rights can be in conflict. I think that parents who are willing to go through a vetting process which checks if they have any history of crimes against children should be able to volunteer at their child's school on a schedule they set up with the teachers. All parents should be able to check on an app or zoom meeting to see what is happening but not to interrupt. They should be able to access the textbooks, curriculum and the lesson plans. However, to have anyone who has been fertile in the last 18 years to be able to wander into any classroom at any time may not be the best idea.
As a teacher I always said any of my parents had the right to walk in my classroom any time. Would be happy to see them. That was their child,, not mine. But I better treat them like mine while I had them. Since I had my own I have always homeschooled him. I don’t trust public schools at this point. And my son has special needs.

I started an org in my school where alum come by and prepare special needs students for ACT, SAT, IB exams because the school refuses to let them take it. We organize places to proctor exams, exam prep, and all of the details. My brother was a part of it, he is about to go to a four year college as an autistic student. My mother is a homemaker, but she homeschooled by brother better than ANY teacher he has ever had. I can tell you now that without her ZERO chance he would be here. There is a saying in my culture, when translated to English it means "a mother is a child's first and best teacher". So thank you for what you do in the school and for your child, I am sure your son appreciates and loves you for it!!!

Probably the people vote to get a person in when there is a vacancy. That's it. Any termination, promotion, or leaves would probably be decided internally. Ideally they would require a vote from the people for anything relating to the attendance of the board.

It’s brilliant if your guilty...this isn’t just some random trial either, this is about kids, parents having to trust an organization that doesn’t put the welfare of these people’s children first, so pleading the 5th shouldn’t even apply considering this wasn’t a legal court proceeding. This school board SHOULD b more than willing to answer any and all questions from concerned parents considering the fact that they are the ones that ‘manage’ the system that’s responsible for teaching these kids and for the safety and well-being of them as well. This is the reason why former teachers should never be voted on a school board. We had this issue arise in our district and we made sure that that former teacher did not get on the board. It’s a conflict of interest, especially when they can approve raises to their pensions and more benefits that are medical. I find this sad considering I know over 90% of the people within this room, I find it sad for the fact that what I find would be cut and dry with the people that's told me the truth they can't answer it on camera or within a hearing. This happened in Canada it is all captured on camera the school boards laughed in their faces and if they didn't like what they were saying the called the police and barred them from the school grounds. When people got sick of that they began to pull kids from school to homeschool they arrested the parents and took the kids. This is no joke.

I went to this district from 3rd-7th grade this school is so horrible that kids who were given sats after graduating were almost all unable to pass
People believe what the ‘news’ tells them to believe.
Probably the people vote to get a person in when there is a vacancy. That's it. Any termination, promotion, or leaves would probably be decided internally.
Ideally they would require a vote from the people for anything relating to the attendance of the board.

It’s brilliant if your guilty...this isn’t just some random trial either, this is about kids, parents having to trust an organization that doesn’t put the welfare of these people’s children first, so pleading the 5th shouldn’t even apply considering this wasn’t a legal court proceeding. This school board SHOULD b more than willing to answer any and all questions from concerned parents considering the fact that they are the ones that ‘manage’ the system that’s responsible for teaching these kids and for the safety and well-being of them as well. It’s worse than spitting n the face of each parent with a concern to sit there like they did and basically ignore them and not even respond to any of them like they did...these people trusted these board members enough to vote them into these positions, so whether these concerns caused by actual events or if they were conjured up by rumors...that board should do everything n their power to eradicate or at least minimize any concern for any reason, and for any parent there. It was atrocious behavior.

This is the reason why former teachers should never be voted on a school board. We had this issue arise in our district and we made sure that that former teacher did not get on the board. It’s a conflict of interest, especially when they can approve raises to their pensions and more benefits that are medical. Parents in the community, people who aren’t parents your local school board and your local government is the most important make sure you know what’s going on

I find this sad considering I know over 90% of the people within this room, I find it sad for the fact that what I find would be cut and dry with the people that's told me the truth they can't answer it on camera or within a hearing. I find it sad that the truth has no value in this matter no longer, and I find it sad that when we as parents have to start asking the hard and I mean hard questions with Administration staff of our schooling. I find it hard when they feel like they are not inclined to answer our questions within legal bounds and the correct questions / law that would not detain you nor amplify amplify you as doing anything wrong or implicate sorry, wouldn't you're unwilling to answer something that is just true you're more worried about how it's going to make you look and sometimes the truth will set you free and I find it truly sad that nowadays the truth will make you look incriminated so I get why he did not answer, but at the same time when you have the board backing a person that will not answer the question I find that distasteful and lacking luster.

I think school boards should only b made up of the parents who have children in that school. When a parents last child graduates then their position should open to another parent of a current student.
So let’s go with that - since i have no students in the public schools, and no opportunity to serve on a school board despite having three degrees in education - i won’t need to be paying the portion of my real estate taxes that support schools. That works for me. However, even Janet Yellen couldn’t print enough money for me to serve on THIS school board. A classic case of the inmates running the asylum.

I don't have children and am I glad that I have none to subject to such a school system. The corruption is obvious from the statements the parents made. All of those board members should be fired.
This happened in Canada it is all captured on camera the school boards laughed in their faces and if they didn't like what they were saying the called the police and barred them from the school grounds. When people got sick of that they began to pull kids from school to homeschool they arrested the parents and took the kids. This is no joke.
