Saw them once on tour with Nothing.... I had seen Nothing before and was there for them, but Ceremony totally blew them out of the water!! While Nothing was sloppy and unfocused, looking bored and indifferent... Ceremony commanded the audience immediately, whipping the crowd into a frenzy with their early material of short, blasty songs.. Then showcasing their sonic diversity with newer stuff. Great live band. Glad I stayed to watch!!
Lol all these babies complaining this album doesn’t rock hard enough. “Waaah this doesnt sound like all these modern hardcore rock bands.” Go listen to thier older stuff then, theyre artists, theyre allowed to change styles and experiment ffs. I think this sound rocks.
Just finished listening to the whole album, funny I came to the RELAPSE page to listen to some more WINDHAND, but like the old days of looking at vinyl racks, you see a cool design on an album cover and you choose to check it out. Glad I did. Kinda reminded me of Public Image Limited along with some Joy Division and New Order. So cool to see what used to be a full on METAL label branching out. Just gotta find the crowd for this, I believe you will. It's good stuff. And mixed damn good too. I like their vibe. THANKS!
@@hiddenteddy96 I remember seeing them live with AFI when they were pure hardcore. They were intense. New music is great. But it's like it's another band. I wish they would just rename themselves.

I think this sound rocks.
I fucking love this. This album literally gets better with every listen
❤️ the evolution of ceremony’s journey into the 4th dimension of consciousness
I didn't expect this sound from Relapse. This sounds like the 80s.

Can't wait to see Ceremony this weekend! I really like this album. Good job!
See you there dude!
@@diegotheflare6814 I was REALLY disappointed their show at PRB with Television last year didn't happen. That was going to be amazing. Oh well.
Awesome record. "From Another Age" is one of the best
Holy fuck, this has such a DEVO vibe to it, that I am instantly in love! I haven't heard Ceremony since Zoo, so this is a huge surprise!
Nice Work! Ceremony is still solid.
from the start to this awesome band ♥
Further I Was remember me to some devo or boingo material, almost all the tracks xD
Major Devo and U2 vibes
Playing Bristol. I must try and make it!!
Amazing sound
Is Lee Ranaldo from Sonic Youth doing the spoken word inbetween some songs ? Sounds alot like him !
I'm glad these guys put Rohnert Park on the map.
Ceremony forever
Seeing them tonight in Philly with my younger brother Pete; we can't wait!
At last.
Is there a chance of them playing hardcore again?
They doing hardcore more than you know
They haven't played hardcore since 2015. Why are you so surprised?
They still do at their shows. They play a bunch of old songs and inclue new songs too

Lumpen Proletarier I Hope not.
Honestly a grower. And it's groed on me
Kinda weird how this is labeled from Relapse.
nice looks like 80/90's bands
I miss the Ruined Ep sound :-(
So is this the same band as ua-cam.com/video/mow2p7eN2sM/v-deo.html or am I tripping
Whats up with hardcore bands going new wave?
has been happening since the 70s, what's up with you?
@@paeinlitsch what are you talking about? Lol
They hopped onto the same wave that turnstile did is what happened
RIP CEREMONY. Here is CEMERONY
I was expecting the OTHER Ceremony through relapse.com
SOMEBODY CALL ANTHONY FANTANO, SO HE WILL GAVE THIS ALBUM - A LIGHT 2 OR NOT GOOD.
You know as well as I do that Melon will give this a light to decent 5 and move on to give some mumble rap album an 8.
Mark Lubashevscky i just heard the album for the second time is amazing for me is a strong 8
:(
Rock is dead? Fuck no
Honestly this is just sad
Why???
@@matiasodiatodo9470 did you not listen? Its sad
This sounds like a third rate mid 00s post-punk revival album
A band named after the best new wave song ever made makes a new wave album. Cry.
@@slidecontrol134 They were better when they made post hardcore
no thanks
Insightful
