How is Karun Eyewear helping to protect nature?
"We help protect nature in different ways, on one side, our sunglasses are made with recycled plastics from the ocean by mainly fishing nets and ropes. These plastics are collected by rural entrepreneurs who help clean the natural spaces where they live.
On the other hand every Karun customer is helpung us fund an exciting project with our partners from Balloon Latam. This project seeks to promote the sustainable development of the Cochamo Valley by working hand in hand with entrepreneurs and local leaders of the territory.
In Karun we believe that a natural place with an empowered community and an economy that depends on the conservation of the environment is a place that is more likely to be conserved.
