yes, I understand you.:) I don't blame Oversight at all - they have their own truth, really!:) I just tried to show they are not so bad.;)) what I mean... when Oversight "re-directs" money - "your mother is a b*tch", remember this? but when Nikita does the same, she stills to be the moral compass!:) isn't it double standart?:)
I have a question, sorry if it's OT: We remember Madeline and Oversight stole money from African children in 2.09... Then Nikita stole those money from Oversight... The question is: what did Nikita do with those money? We can't be sure if she returned them! Moreover, their team needs expensive weapon... So...?;))
BTW, there is other episode where Oversight (not just Senator Madeline, but the whole group) 'distracted' BILLIONS from some operation in, I don't remember, maybe Irak. It's funny how everybody keep talking about those little 80 millions fund for African relief but forget that other 'detail'. LOL
This show was good and I enjoyed it a lot. But the best episodes for me was when they involved other groups or organizations like The Shop and Gogol. It felt like La Femme Nikita. The focus was on Nikita's war on Division, but they could have a separate act like Division conducting counter-terrorism. Let's say if the show was made last year instead of 2010, it could involve groups like ISIL, Al Qaeda, N.Korea, China, Ukraine-Crimera crisis, Syria and maybe invent some european terrorist groups that we are familiar with from the 70's. Red Army Faction from Germany, but a successor group called Red Front. Others like a splinter group from ETA called Continuity ETA, Corsica nationalist separatist movement and a right wing german terror cell.
@TheReleve Oh, yes, it's double standard. We humans justify the actions of our own country/ faction/ family -"WE have good reasons to do that"- but our enemies... oh, they are evil, *they* think the end justify the means.
Well, I wouldn't say that "Oversight stole money from African children"... I'd say just re-directed the funds to other more pressing issues :) Seriously, in their 'world', maybe they had to re-direct that to prevent a terrorist attack, or to bring down a dictator. I'm not personally accepting their morals, OK? Just saying it works for the series :) In that same context, I'm pretty sure Nikita used that money to carry on her mission, yes. Weapons, probably.
I just love Madeline!
