KK did some pretty large hattrick pulling out headliner spot with new band.
man KK better be paying Ripper well, he sells the band and keeps everything glued together, singing better than ever. My buddy is the guy that turned Scott on to Ripper from working the same tribute band circuit he did. He showed him a vhs tape and that led to him getting the gig.

It seems respectful that KK isn’t doing Glenn’s solo in Beyond the Realms, but then again I’d love to see him pull it off, but then again, I can’t imagine anyone playing it like Glenn. It was cool to see KK on stage with Ritchie and Glenn at the Hall of Shame. I’m 59 years old and have been a fan of these guys since I was 14.
Great to see that they added at least one song from Judas Priest´s Ripper era to the setlist - "Burn in Hell". It´s a great song and there is a lot more material from those two albums that is seriously underrated, especially of "Jugulator". I´d love to hear them do "Cathedral Spires".

Cathedral Spires is amazing. The intro is one of the finest expressions of metal ever composed 🤘

I saw Priest in 99 at the Roseland Ballroom in NYC and Ripper rocked. people were all drunk pissing in the massive bathroom downstairs and yelling "Halford who?"
They didn't do very well with ripper . Glad halford came back

Great show. They need a bit more of rehearsals. The Ripper they missed The intro tempo and the roadies let the guitars on between songs... but they'll sharpen it. Tim is awesome.

This is sounding fantastic, and I'm glad they are in Eb tuning in contrast to D during Ripper's Priest era. It just sounds better, and kudos to Tim for getting in the same physical shape he was in in the late 90's. They are all nailing it and have constructed a really good setlist.
I don't get why they tuned to D, since Jugulator was in E flat
@davidgradinaru7313 Jugulator had a few tunings, some songs as low as C and C#. In the ripper era they generally played in D live though

Only the 2nd show they're work out the kinks ,sounded great great seeing K.K. and Ripper Owens together again this show had 13 songs since it was a festival show while the 1st show at KK's place had 15 so 15 is normal number.
Brothers of the Road and Raise your Fists are classic Judas Priest anthems..Love the lead guitar harmonies

Too all these bands that use "Backing Tracks" to ENHANCE THE PERFORMANCE. Just watch this show. RIPPER doesn't need backing tracks to make it sound amazing or Enhanced. This is a FLAWLESS PERFORMANCE!!!!!

I saw Judas Priest with Ripper Owens for the first time in 1998 in the tour that introduced him, and he was powerful and on target with his vocals. Here it is 2023, and he sounds just as good; all the range and sustain is there. This is such a good band, and their new music fits right in with the older. Brothers of the Road is an awesome song, and I enjoyed that the most of this set. A brand new and exciting piece of music that shows this band and write and deliver.
I absolutely loved Halford's Resurrection solo album and his band in that era, while I concurrently enjoyed the studio & live Priest releases with Ripper Owens. It was remarkable how well they carried on with Tim in 97-2003. This, interestingly feels like a fine resurrection of its own, of the Ripper-era Live Priest.
Ripper has grown a whole hell of a lot as a singer I think. Having spent the past 20 years covering other band's songs, and singing for Iced Earth, and singing for Yngwie, and singing for the Dio tribute shows, and his own solo material and a couple supergroup-style projects too, I think he has a level of versatility and of comfort being onstage that wasn't necessarily there during his era of Priest.

Thanks to all who put this concert together, there is one thing and only one thing the Ramps have to be scaled down they isolate who ever climbs them .Other than that I loved the concert ( perhaps live was different with the ramps ) KK & the band are just great energy thanking you all for living the dream top shelf 5 stars.
