Great stuff Gabe. There are some really giant John Deere trucks that are all outfitted with equipment that clean through the sand, about a foot down I would guess, and keeps the trash. The machines are some really, modern pieces of Ingenuity.... It warmed my heart to see how well these trucks did for the beaches, one of my favorite places to be.
what yall are doing makes me feel good because i have always told my kids the something we always leave the place cleaner than we find it keep up the good work
I would have to say Gabe that when You put them down Crystal's shorts was the best part of the video Her reaction was priceless that was frickin Hilarious.
That foam is remnants of closed cell blow in insulation from the homes that were destroyed by the hurricane. Another great video Gabe. Glad you guys are safe from the storm.
This is the 1 st video I have got to watch since September 27th I lived in the flood plane of the north toe river in Mitchell County NC. We have been living in a tent beside our house FEMA came to the house today and done the inspection and said it would be 10 more days before they can process my application for my home. Please pray for Western North Carolina we ain't asking for a hand out just a hand up. Love the channel and thank you for cheering me up!
I took a trip to the Philippines and they had a tractor and a odd looking trailer and that did what you said t oo the top 3 inch's or so of sand and collected everything from stones and stick to rubbish. And then the sand was beautiful and golden .
I saw some of the devastation in Staurt on TV. I was so worried until this video came out. Thank God u and the fam are all OK. You r such an inspiration and blessing to all the lives you touch.
So glad you and your family made it through ok was worried about yall and love the like eating a cockroach part made me spit out my coffee watching Crystal's face lmao awesome job keep up the great content.
Gabe, I'm glad y'all made it through the storm all right. My daughter and granddaughters took the brunt of the storm in Bradenton. My brother's in-laws, on siesta key, pretty much have lost their home. There was damage from Helene and then my brother went out there Saturday and sent me pictures of what was left of the house. Who's suffered damage at his house is well in Bradenton.
The first time that I went to the ocean beach we caught a big sand flea and thought it was some kind of crab. Years later to catch them, we would just dig a hole on the edge of the wave action and just sit and keep digging in the hole and keep catching them. One of my favorite videos is watching my nieces catching sand fleas in the hole. Always fun. Never tried to eat one though. I've seen other videos of people cooking and eating them, and they always get a mixed review. Many thanks, thoughts and prayers to you and your family, and for the all the people you've helped after the storms. God bless you all. 👍👍
BlueGabe, I absolutely love this video so much, all the kids are so funny especially Crystal. I would love too try them and see what they taste like. So glad you are all safe, God's Bless All of you and can't wait until your next adventure. Scott Graham from Hampton Beach New Hampshire.
Another Great video Gabe. Glad everyone is safe and you didn’t have any major damage from Milton. Florida definitely needs a break from these hurricanes.
I'm glad to hear that you & all the family made it through the hurricane. You are blessed because other families weren't so lucky. I enjoyed the video. Keep making great content.
You're the man Gabe! I'd have been eating those things by the handful!!! Florida is lucky to have someone like you and your family around! Keep up the good work bro!
We call them sand fleas in South Africa as well in Afrikaans our native language it is called molecrabs i dont know if i would eat one though enjoy glad you are safe
lol only if i was starving to death. congrats on the massive channel growth over the last few years. I been here for it. thanks for all the great content! Love seeing you teach your boys PROPER hunting fishing and living.
You could put a nice size greenhouse there which your trees would be protected and grow all sorts of tomatoes and sqaush, probably cantelop and watermelon too.I know i would, and gardening is relaxing and satisfying.when you cook with something you grew, it just tastes that much better.so glad you guys are all good.
that brings back a lot of sad and bad memories from hurricane Katrina. after the water went out everything was marsh grass and marsh mud. the saltwater killed everything from the ground to 6 feet up trash and debris everywhere. Gabe im glad you n the family made out ok. prayers for everyone that lost love ones and all of their personal possessions. mother nature has a way of making everything stronger and better. god bless
❤ Gabe, im glad you and your family are all safe. I truly love your channel and the person you are. You are smart strong and good looking. Best wishes from California.
City of Cocoa Beach has a “ beach cleaner” . Like a street sweeper… Brevard County does not clean the beaches… nor Cape Canaveral or any beach to the south of CB that I know of. Getting that foam off the beach also helps to save the sea turtles & shore birds. Everyone going to the beach should take extra store bags of garbage bags! Many THANKS TO ALL THAT FO ❤️🙏
We watched the original video a couple times. My kids love catching sand fleas. This past summer they wanted to try and cook a few. They really wasn't that bad. We shared a few with people on the beach. Love the videos. Keep them up!
Cool video BlueGabe but I'm not eating one. I use them for Bait Surf fishing. You can blanch them and freeze them to use in colder months for when they are hard to find
That fence is nailed to the wrong side of the posts so wind pushes it over everytime. Put those cross members on the prevailing wind side and it will stay up better
I will never forget the ORIGINAL video of this! It was awesome then and it’s awesome now. Gabe your videos are always different and you know how to keep us locked in as an audience. 80K and you’ll be at a MILLION SUBS. Keep up the awesome work
Good night!! I lived in Pensacola Florida for 20 years and never heard about SAND FLEAS!! 😂 Dang! I'm in Texas now 😮 I "lived" thru Ivan and Wilma 2004....did 2 years relief work. I can't believe that many years have g9ne buy and you have 9mil views on that one video....yet only 920k subs......wth what gives?
BlueGabe ,you missed a trick there , you could of used the sand flea net to pick the bits of foam off the sand , keep up the good work and the great videos ,🏴🇬🇧🏴🇬🇧 from England
@@BluegabeArrington TO CLEAN UP FOAM use a leaf blower sweeping back and forth moving it down the beach until a lot is accumulated and then blow it into a fine mesh net and bag it. Keep repeating until it's done. Four people should be able to do a half mile a day. Two people walking side by side with blowers can alternate with the net and baggers.
I'd like to make a suggestion about your storage of the sand flea for long-term bait usage. If you were to super saturate some water with salt, you could store them without blanching or boiling them. Blanching and/or boiling them makes them hard to manage on a hook. The jar of water will need to be stored in a freezer but should not freeze. When you store the fleas, just toss them in the super salty water live for best results.
Gabe I was a single dad with 2 small boys with sole custody and I met my wife 22 years ago, she is 10 years younger than me and she was still in college at UNCW I live at Carolina beach and fish and surf I am your age were not getting any younger, were so blessed to have her come into our lives and now have a 15 year old daughter together, Crystal is amazing we need to get to gather and film a fishing video hear in my home town

Watching Crystal's care for them boys and Gabe just makes this channel really like them all together .

Prob the foam board insulation too, plus the blow in stuff.. a shit show for sure.
What about closed cell foam from boat hulls?

Build Crystal A Taxidermy Shop !!!!
Great idea. She needs a She Shed so she can do her taxidermy work
and she could do a side youtube channel on taxidermy
One of your best videos
You could start off with some large heavy duty wrought-iron fences around the house, I think it would look great.

16:55 thats actually just another type of molecrab - commonly called the "Beach Mole Crab" but its still a mole crab like the sand fleas are.
Also, that sand flea rake should work to pick up that insulation
