- Confidence interval = sample mean ± margin of error
The population mean for a certain variable is estimated by computing a confidence interval for that mean. If several random samples were collected, the mean for that variable would be slightly different from one sample to another.

The way you described everything.. it's just ❤❤❤❤
Thanks 😊👍🏻😊👍🏻😊👍🏻 Jai Shree Ram
Sir if don't know anything about population how we can derive to the standard deviation?
shouldn't we perform a t test here as the sample size is less than 30 so the CLT does not kick in.
Sir ek doubt hai sir jab hame population ka standard deviations nahi pata tho kya kare like exit poll? And tab kaise find out kare c.i because formula me population standard deviations hai
Which software is he using for notes
finally
for 80% CI with same question
the decision boundary is between -1.28 to +1.28
significance value is 0.05
lower CI = 519.9 and upper CI = 520.1
i am not 100% sure but if i am right then sir plz reply plz
🙏🙏🔥
why are we not performing t test here?
conclusion is somewhat wrong. ideally it should be that....... i am 85% confident that each time a CI is calculated for any sample, it will hold the true value which in our case is the population mean.
Nice session😊❤
They is no tutorial videos like this in my language
In previous video about hypothesis testing, you said that "If sample size is less than 30 we use t-test". In example of this video sample size = 25 but you used Z-sore from Z table to find the Confidence Interval, why not t table?. Am I missing any point?
Popular standard deviation is known thas why sir used the z test and their was no sample standard deviations value known
Agree. Teaching incorrect stuff. Try to teach by making concepts relatable. Ratta marke koi be padha degha
