This is a result of continuous building (residential, commercial, etc). Not enough nature in the surrounding areas, nothing but concrete.

      Steve Brown
Nobody was warned. Nobody knew it was going to be bad.
All the schools were running, all the turnarounds were running, all the local news sources including the mayor told the city on Wednesday that it was all okay.
      Two hypotheses:
1: Saudi Arabia has been disrupted by a rocket attack but the market remained remarkably calm. Wall Street Journal noted that the market was treating the 50% loss in oil production as a natural event, like bad weather in the gulf. Now with that in mind, there is motive to roll the dice on Houstonians and keep everyone working because the spice must flow.
2: Climate change or global warming or atmosphere transgender or whatever has so disrupted weather patterns that meteorological techniques and science must be revised. They simply couldn't predict.

This is the way it was in the past and now it will be our future. Its why we don't have rocks in our GUMBO SOIL, we were at the bottom of the ocean. Future road construction should include drainage elevations to a central pump station to take water away, be it the Gulf or out to New Mexico. This water is a resource use it as such.

Tammy James girl if they try to fire you, you better sue them. I know TX is an at will state but people have won lawsuits for much less. And don’t warn them either. Just pop up with a lawsuit. You literally can’t get to work. The law even covers your travels to work. A woman in Dallas died on her way to work during severe weather and her family was granted one million dollars. And I think she was a janitor if I’m not mistaken. Fuck that job, there’s only one you!

I don't get why in certain areas ppl are nit reversing. Very few. Plus why dont officials close the entryways on the expressways to prevent ppl from getting on and having to sit there. Also take the last few cars at a time and have them reverse, direct and take a detour. People are slow and cant work together to rectify simple situations and want to wait for someone to tell them what to do.

    • @Neji1984
