LOVE the shots of the tail designs of Frontier, never seen it before but how utterly charming! Thank you for this short and sweet review, you always make it entertaining whatever the content and that’s no small feat 🙏🏼
Not sure if you mentioned it before, but I had no idea you film with an iPhone. Your videos are so high quality I would have never thought that! Very cool!
OMG PHL AIRPORT... THANK GOD Kevin you do not have to connect there and ride the bus..., great work as always. Praying that you will head back to the Far East soon for your own sanity :)
Had to look at what day it is. Surprised you released a new video on a Friday but I'm not complaining though. It just threw me off a little. Thanks for the video review as always.
@@tfft back in the late 90s - mid 2000s I always made a trip to YEG (from SFO) to visit my parents via United. They always have CRJ on this flight. I'm average height but I still bump my head on the overhead storage bin.
Great report, as always. I never flew a CRJ, I’m really curious (and I honestly would choose a seat far in the back for the noise😂) Excited for the next flight report. Last November I had a really great experience in Air Canada’s signature class, GRU-EZE, 787-9. Thanks for sharing another awesome report, Kevin!
Typically comprehensive, Kevin. Liked the reward-flight-strategising and luggage-contingency-planning action. Pity the cloud precluded some shots of the lake.
Nice short hop to my hometown, looking forward to you review of AC biz class to London. It may decide if I choose to bid on an upgrade from Premium Economy for my flight to Madrid. Thanks for sharing 😊🎉
@petek5523 whatever the minimum bid is, I always choose 3 ‘clicks’ up from there. So if it’s $500 minimum and $25 intervals, I’ll go for $575. Usually works!
I flew that same route last year on American 🦅. We went out of Terminal F (the regional terminal) which has special low-level jetways so that you don’t need to board outdoors.
I wouldn't mind trying AC's a220 and porter's e2. I've been in the United club at DFW. It's small as well but looks nicer than the one in PHL and a good place to spend a couple hours.
Thank you Kevin. You know I love your review however i’d like to have some views. ❤ my comments to your review are: 1. your vdo speed during take off and landing a little too fast for me who are enjoying watching those details. 2. Colors of your vdo is a little fresh. 😊
How did you research the CR9 to determine the ones with the upgraded (e.g. larger bins) interior? I know on Delta regionals. I am flying AC CR9 this year.
Very nice review! Just wondering, how did you find which fin had which layout? I have had a hard time finding which A330 still have the old config, I know its just a few, I found a flyertalk forum before but can't get clarity which has the new cabin now. We are on a PE flight on one in April. Other question, is any stat alliance business class ticket get you into the United Club? Thought the big 3 had weird loungs rules. Thanks for another amazing review!
I know AC didn't retrofit any of these and I also knew the date the first new cabin bird was delivered, so anything delivered from that date forward was the "good" one.
I m used to love flying Air Canada, not so much now. It was lovely, economy was lovely, hot towels, real cutlery and china, large, flavorful meals. Not anymore. Economy feels like you are in a holding bin. They also charge for crummy food in economy. Toronto airport has become a nightmare, lost luggage, long lines. I navigate it easier than most as I need a wheelchair. The only joy is people watching.
Hello, we have flown CRJ several times, but for us it is a flight from our city of Poznań in Poland to Frankfurt am Main to then fly to Cancun, the flight with this plane is ok for this route, i.e. about an hour, maybe it would be nice if Lufthnsa had a better service on short European routes. As for Cancun, we stayed at the Secrets the Vine hotel twice and I must admit that each time it was a very successful stay, I would love to see your review of this hotel, do you plan to visit it.
I will be visiting a Secrets this year, but not in Cancun. As for LH service, with their introduction of LufthansaCity, I'm afraid all of those very short routes are just going to see more and more cost cutting measures!
Kevin there would have been multiple Philadelphia to Toronto flights this was the days when US Airways🇺🇲 was in Star Alliance with Air Canada🇨🇦 which means you would have gotten the larger E-190/E-175s. If you want a proof of that you need a 2010 Hemispheres Magazine or an Enroute Magazine pre US Airways switch to Oneworld Alliance. The other way to get into a United Club is getting a non-us based Star Alliance gold that way you are allowed to access it both International and domestic. Example of it is getting the Air Canada Aeroplan🇨🇦 ANA Mileage Club🇯🇵 Austrian🇦🇹 Lufthansa🇩🇪 Miles and More Thai Airways Royal Orchid Plus🇹🇭 Asiana Diamond🇰🇷Air China Shenzhen Airlines Phoenix Miles 🇨🇳 Eva Air Infintymileage 🇹🇼and lastly Singapore Airlines Krisflyer🇸🇬 Star Alliance gold tiers.
@tfft By international travel statistics and international airlines flying to these cities. It's not lol at all. Air Canada is a major airline with a fleet of about 350 planes, Toronto is the 3rd largest IT hub in North America and a major financial hub, including the TSX. Montreal is the 3rd largest commercial aircraft manufacturing hub after Seattle and Toulouse and is the HQ of ICAO and IATA. Toronto is the 4th largest city in North America after Mexico City, NYC, and Los Angeles. The GTA Toronto Metropolitan population is over 7 million and is approaching 8 million. The largest international airline serving the United States is Air Canada in the number of flights and passengers carried. Toronto is a major AI, gaming, and educational centre, including the University of Toronto, with an enrollment of over 60000 students. Canada's immigration policies are of note as last year our population grew by over 1 million and now sits at almost 42 million we are also a major trading country and the World's 10th largest economy soon to pass Italy in total GDP. Why should this surprise you ? Have you been to Toronto lately as overflying it on approach to Toronto Pearson will reaffirm its massive size. Remember I stated international travel and for that both Toronto and Montreal and my home in BC has Vancouver a very important Asia hub. The percentage of Canadians who have passports is quite high. In all honesty, Canada counts. Have a good one.
You are of course entitled to your opinion. For me, I simply rank aiports by the data. Last year, ranked by international passangers, there was no airport in North America in the top 10. YYZ certainly does have many airlines flying to it, 52 of them. Bankok Suvarnabhumi has 113. Toronto is an important major hub for North America- especially for Canada- just not by the metrics I typically follow. Thanks for watching 🩴
Friday video? Wow! I understand that you’re excited about your one-off (two?) experience with Air Canada / Jazz, but a frequent flier is probably laughing. AC is one of the worst service providers in North America, considering the exorbitant ticket prices they demand.
I mean, all of my trip reports are just snapshots- like reviewing one page of a book lol. I’m sure it gets a lot worse (and a lot better) than what I had on board.
You deserve a million subs for the outstanding content, and you will get them before too long. Best wishes.
Thanks very much 🙏🏻

If only inside of the Frontier jets were as charming haha. Thanks as always for watching 🙏🏻
I really do enjoy your videos. Always well presented and clear to understand.
Appreciate that!
The solo seats on the CRJs and E175s are super nice. Thanks for the info + video!
Thanks for watching 🩴
Really like the music you’ve used. iPhones must also be really good now to make UA-cam videos with.
Thanks very much. Every video on my channel has been made with an iPhone.
@@tfft Woah, didn't know that! Nice!!!

Mentioned in quite a few comment replies, but not sure in the videos... but yeah, all of my videos have been filmed on four different iPhones.
OMG PHL AIRPORT... THANK GOD Kevin you do not have to connect there and ride the bus..., great work as always. Praying that you will head back to the Far East soon for your own sanity :)
I'm here now but leaving soon for my most intense trip ever 😂 Can't remember the last time I needed 6 visas for 1 trip haha

Great vid! And yes, with the newer cabin interior you can fit roller bags in the economy section. Not sure if that's on all refitted CRJs
Thanks for sharing ✈️

‘Daily Luggage Contingency Planning’ will definitely be the title of my Ted talk if I ever give one 😅

Well even after watching, it will all depend on how much the bid is lol
$1000 min just to get into the 3rd section 😅

You should review royal air maroc 787-9 business class!
If only they didn't always swap it with the -8!
@@tfft nope it shows when you’re booking they mostly use 787-9 to New York and mostly use -8 to Miami, Montreal etc
You don't see small regional jets around asia that often. It's usually just the standard 737 a320 if not turboprops
Yup!
You should see the main airlines of Japan, they have domestic configured widebodies.
Where did you get the information about which planes had which configuration? That is an impressive amount of research!
Don't remember exactly where- was based on knowing the first one to receive the newest cabin and then noting each tail delivered after that.
I flew that same route last year on American 🦅. We went out of Terminal F (the regional terminal) which has special low-level jetways so that you don’t need to board outdoors.

I like the looks of the A220, but I think the interiors are overrated- especially for up front.
What editing software do you use? Your stuff always looks great by the way.
Just iMovie. Thanks very much 🙏🏻

I have loads of CRJ footage on my channel. They are sleek as you say in your video.

Determined the date the first with the new bins came into service and then checked aircraft delivery dates.

It's all relative tbh- if the majority of airlines have gone downhill "20%" but AC only went downhill "19%" that means AC improved! haha
Pls try air india's a350 pls BTW love the vid
I'll wait until they have a bunch of them. I'm not fond of chasing 1 or 2 planes.
Usual comment to help you in the algo 🤠 Get out your protractor for the takeoff angle!
Quite a steep one!

Emirates business 👀
Is it the controversial 2-3-2 config 777?
More than one- check my Community Tab for details.
How did you book such a complex itenerary?
Air Canada's website lol. Search and search and search and (maybe) you shall find.
