Honestly, discovered this song today and it’s quickly becoming an anthem. I just keep repeating the chorus thinking about what we are all afraid is coming down the line here in America but no matter what happens, our spirits aren’t broken because this world is not our home. My heart honestly can't contain all this goodness... Ellie and Bear are both such beautiful souls and seeing them working together brings healing on so many levels.
I grew up in a pretty religious family and community and it really soured me to religion as a whole but when I hear this song I tear up and genuinely feel something in my soul that I haven’t felt in a very very long time so thank you for that. So much.

Well it was technically yesterday now by a few minutes that the good lord gave me this song through the magic of Pandora. I literally had it on blast for 6 hours straight! Continuous repeat. This is my number one favorite now! It's so good! I was going hard in the first hour when it dawned on me to switch it up and look here and WaBAAAAAM! Its so hard to find a really good catholic song but now i know my go to artist, Ellie and Bear make beautiful songs with beautiful lyric and i feel so happy listening to her and his songs :)
Soooo hopeful and upbeat! Would think it will be her next single for CCM.
Still trying to figure out the theology behind the song as some of the lyrics are a bit “out there.” Yet, one thing is sure, God’s Presence is always there even in times of natural tragedy and things out of our control.
There will be time when we won’t have to concern ourselves with such things in “the sweet ever after”

Don’t understand the last stanza. Can’t figure it out. Lyrics Too mystical for me.
Sort of like on NTB’s MERCY’S SHORE from last years OUT OF BODY. The last stanza of that song came off as really strange and didn’t make sense to me, especially Biblically.
