Definitely used the beginning of this video to guide my first steps. I eventually fell into a system and got mine all together. Having never built anything like this before it was really fun. I know there are only so many Digimon ones and hope I can branch out into the greater model scene if this is anything like what I should expect.

So I just built the regular Metal Garurumon. I have a WarGreymon also sitting on my desk ready to be put together. These are my first ever snap together models like these. I found it extremely enjoyable and relaxing. Does anyone have any suggestions on where to go from here? I know Gundam has a large scene with similar models. However I know nothing about Gundam except big robots go pew pew. Is that an avenue that I could jump into with no previous knowlege of the series? Are their other models like this for other series?
I’m pretty sure there are some neon genesis ones and they did release machinedramon. There’s no reason to not jump into gundam if you want to explore that. I’ve never invested in the series but it never stopped me from building them when I was a kid. If it’s something you want to build, just go for it.
Mine came with alternative color options for claws (gold, red, white) and the lower leg (black or white) by the look of it. So you can spice it up a bit.

Nice build. Not a real of Black Metalgarurumon's colors, he looks a lot more plain than Black Wargreymon.
