After transplanting plants I always add water immediately after transplanting and it doesn’t disturb the main root and shock the plant.

Give them lots of light, monthly handful of compost and some phosphorus rich fertilizer like bonemeal, slightly moist water, but not soggy. Well draining nutrient rich soil. Deadheading is also important to induce more blooming

Pollination (without which plants cannot give us fruits or seeds) is the service , our pollinators like bees , bumblebees , birds and bats provide us . We cannot compare the the cost of artificial pollination as compared to pollination without natural pollinators .
