Did we all collectively stop playing siege for 2-3 years and only came back again in late 2023/early 2024?? Ive seen at least a dozen ppl say what u commented ever since i got back on siege

My group calls lurkers - soft or short roamers. So we try for 2 roamers 3 anchors with the third anchor short/soft roaming. This way the soft roamer can push out to retake space lost by a dead roamer or pull back and prep as anchor depending on how well entry frag did their job
thats actually an old role called on-site roamer, people used to divide roamers into 2 categories, off-site and on-site, for example if you are playing 2f on bank, and off site would be playing 1f or sometimes they even traverse basement, while on-site roamers would be playing around janitor and square/skylight, so your team can have mutliple angles covered

I use Montagne as a kamikaze distraction. I go in screaming “Cassé Soir” (its French cause I speak French and English) making a distraction (most times making me die) and then while they make sure I die my teammates merc the other team
flank watch operators are also thise with claymores. those are forgotten a lot.

I know the lurker role as patrol and I really like playing Lesion or Ela for it. Lesion can take space with the gus that way and is still very safe because you have the intel he has.

I’m new but I watch a lot of pro leugue and I disagree about nomad she can block run outs very well while not having to waste a secondary gadget on a claymore. She also is good for the fact that you can use her last one to put on the defused of on a door way as your team is diffusing

I mostly new to siege and I was wondering if you could list more operators that fit the roles. I have the deluxe edition of siege so I have more operators than I don’t know what to do with. Also great videos.
For a newer player I would go support operators such as thermite ace or finka, and on defense I would use doc rook or kapkan
The easiest way to decide who to go when your new is usally the difficulty 1 being the easiest and 3 being the hardest, on attack i reccamend Lion, Ace, and either Ying or Slege as its pretty easy to learn how to play them and your team won't fully rely on you to get walls like they would a Thermite, on defense I recemend Rook, Kapkan, and either Castle or Frost as they are all easy to learn, while at the same time these ops give you team a small amount of surport even after you die, which when your a new player expect to die a lot its just part of learning the game.
Today in ranked i was playing a 2 stack and we were playing vert i had 2 flank drones and i asked dead teamates to watch them and they agreed but then they didnr even watch them so we died😢
I've found even if you're full pushing being more patient on angles that show predictable places defenders can be you'll win with decent crosshair placement 80% of the gunfights

My understanding hard support, soft support. Flex, entry, 2ndary entry, hard roamers soft roamers anchors. Thats what ive always went by flank watch is done by a flex or soft support, js like soft destruction was always done by n entry of soft support. Some of the terms u use i personally feel like its filler but idk ive also not kept up with siege in awhile so what do i kno

You could probably fit most into any category if you try hard enough, also there categories in game that tell you what you should focus on.

After watching this video i now have no idea what is my role on attack.i seem to do abit of everything normally. On defence i am a roamer/lurker/shallow roamer Even with anchor type operators i also shallow roam.

The IGL DOES NOT WORK unless you're playing professional esports. Your randoms aren't even gonna react to info you give them over pings and or vc. Your friends might but will probably still ego it. There is no IGL in r6s.

100% not true. If you're playing in a stack it's always a good idea to have a leader. Doesn't need to be an IGL like Canadian but you win more if someone is leading the way and coordinating and coming up with strats

Why do so many people pronounce Nook wrong, it isn't Nock... It's Nook like as in a small space. Yes I am one of those people who make a big deal out of nothing, because to me it sounds stupid when someone says "Nock is on red stairs" but they should be saying "Nook is on red stairs". Not only does it sound better but it's actually how you say her call sign.
It's probably because it has the ø and 2 ks so they probably think it's more like nokk instead of nook
