      The Walking Dead is a prime example. They should have ended it like 5 years ago. People have been bored of it for years. Now there’s only 2 characters who were at the beginning and they keep making spin-offs to add insult to injury. Disgusting greed

    The reason he ended the series was because his father died around the age Jim was when the last season was being filmed. There were things in his life he still wanted to do and he felt that being on Big Bang wasn’t going to give him that chance to do those things. He ended the show so he could accomplish and experience things his father would never had the chance to. I hope this clears this.

    Stopping a show while it's still popular is the best decision they could have made. Something is not good just because it lasts too long. A lot of people in this industry need to understand this and know when to stop. TWD and GOT are good examples of this. They didn't stop at the right time and they paid the price for it.
    Edit: Honestly if TWD had ended after the Whisperers and only continued through the spin-offs, the show would be so much better.

    • @CazadoresRob
      @CazadoresRob 2 місяці тому

      GOT had Brixit going on in the last seasons and was running out of money. But it was good and so is House of the dragon and i’m sure the other spin offs coming out.
      TWD they tried to monetize and creat a big franchise.
      Just wanted to point out the differences.
      TBBT is a sit-com. Not story driven like the others. It can go on and on and on.

    It was like they switched main characters at the beginning of the series. Because the first couple of episodes make it seem like the main story is Leonard trying to impress Penny but after the episode where Sheldon’s mom comes to visit it seems the series shifts it’s focus to Sheldon as the Main character. Even in the scrapped pilot episode you get the same impression that Leonard is the main character and Sheldon plays more of a supporting role.

    Professionally speaking, golden handcuffs are a real thing in the entertainment industry. Actors and comics and who become popular or “make it” on a particular tv show can easily get boxed into that one character they play or limited to one genre the longer they work on a particular show. The fact they are highly paid doing the one thing they’re known for can work against them in the long run; the longer they milk their financial success doing that one thing, the more likely they’ll be to get locked into that one thing forever

      exactly, it shows it more since he was getting paid the most out of everyone by far, and still chose to leave. While the rest of the cast for sure wanted to keep rolling with it and making money, Parsons felt he made enough and wanted to do more as an actor, and in his life.
      the only ungrateful people, were the ones yelling at him for choosing his life, over being the same character for his whole career just because people wanted him on the show. To the viewers the show takes up an hour of their time, where as for Parson it takes up his life to film all of that. they could have done one last season where Sheldon is not actually in the show but hinted CONSTANTLY. each episode would follow a different person. one episode could be where Lenard and Penny move into a house just like Sheldon and Amy got their own house. Penny video calls Amy and Bernadette in that episode too check in. then we get an episode where Bernadette and Howard finally find Stewart a gf and apartment and have to deal with his absence. then show an episode where rajesh's father passes away and he inherits his fathers company and money and he's crossed between leaving America to run the business in India or giving the business up to his mother or sister. then have an episode about Amy getting pregnant with Sheldon and always have Sheldon in the other room talking from a distance "helping her with chores" and have it look like he's always just walking out of the room so we "think" we see him, and then at the end have him appear for like the last scene being a wholesome husband to Amy showing his character development. if you did it in an order like this, Sheldon would only have to appear once every 5 or 6 episodes, besides the occasional voiceover and it wouldn't take away from the weight of the show but instead illustrate that this is the last season for how much they are truly growing into their own people while still inviting their friendship into their lives without it being the mainframe of their life.
