    I was watching a probation hearing for a man that got 11 years for a second offense of breaking into a car, seven years apart. In his 12th year in prison the Police charge him again for the same offense as a recidivist offender and he was sentenced to life. The current probation hearing was held in his 21st year in prison... Hard to believe these things can happen.

      I don't believe it, and then again I do.
      It's got to be something more than you pointed out, if it is to be believable, but I also know exactly what insanity these powers are capable of, so I know that they do stuff like that.
      But it's not believable in the scope of reality. At least not the reality that we believe could be possible.
      I don't know how to make it make sense.

      Oh you'll get a trial....but you only get JUSTICE if you pay for it. Because Justice is a commodity that is bought and sold to the highest bidder. And the court of law is the bazaar in which that transaction takes place.

    • @Slippery_Pickle47.3
      @Slippery_Pickle47.3 8 днів тому

      This is the case in my country, where justice is bought far more corruptly than the American system.
      I watch the state of law enforcement in the US out of a kind of morbid curiosity. The authoritative mercy of men following orders.
      Where as my police are only dangerous when you are in the wrong place and up to no good, if you stay out of trouble you’re fine.
      I wish you guys the best of luck with retaining your rights and with holding your government accountable. This however depends on how many people stand up and care. If the people don’t object, it’s consent by apathy.
      Freedom isn’t free at all, it comes at the highest price, blood. But it is usually given away freely.

    Thank you for your content! The police in my local public safety dropped the ball with a solid State to State stalking case, which was proven by the Michigan crime lab when they found malware and downloads, but the Det/Sgt miss handled the case itself, which caused the case to not go forward. 😡 I studied criminal justice at NMU and served as a deputy sheriff in my county jail in my younger days for 1.5 years. My regret is not knowing to record the police and detective with every encounter we had. They back tracked facts of the case and this monster is attached to a major crime. I'm literally assisting Florida LE with a cold case homicide because of my education and my knowledge is who the alleged person is. I connected the 4th person to report them. I met a man who had the same detective over a domestic abuse case and the victim has been victimized over and over by her. I am emailing her son and advising they record the police in the future. Now having watched this, as well as many of the cop watchers, I'm going to get cameras all over my city now and get these corrupt cops to be held accountable. Thank you for your work and services to all of U.S.
    Godspeed 🇺🇸

    • @therealnews
      @therealnews  2 дні тому

      I am so glad that you are able to use your education, experience, and knowledge of this particular case to help the victim! I wish you the very best in assisting them in getting justice! Also, I think it is terrific that you will be campaigning for body-worn cameras in your local law enforcement agencies as well as greater CCTV coverage-- video footage is the one thing that can help victims of crime and victims of police misconduct have any chance at justice. Please keep us updated!!! -taya you can always send me an email at PAR just mention in the subject line we chat in the comment section.

    Never underestimate the amount of Israeli IPs involved. Everyone needs to look into the ADL's programs that send Local and Federal law enforcement to Israel to learn their tactics. They train ,again, our local law enforcement does, with Israeli "counter terrorism" law enforcement and then apply those tactics on regular Americans in local communities.
    I know a lot still think they're "our ally" but they're truly NOT.

    Has anyone noticed that if some bootlicker says ‘if you film police in my town I’ll be sure to use my gun on you so they don’t have to’, the police and government will applaud them, thank them, even warn them not to get into trouble.
    But if an activists says ‘we need to put an end to bad policing’ they’ll be questioned and then put on a list as a danger to law enforcement.

    Wow, those conditions at that _jail_ there in Louisiana are sucky; even though his threats were scary, he didn't actually carry them out, so I still feel bad for him. Why can't they even have those little semi-stall walls around the toilets? And why are there not even any books for that sort of entertainment, at least? What happened to prison being a place where some things are actually a little more fulfilling than in jail, such as being able to have enough online access that you could even get a new college degree while you're in there (in hopes of using it later when you get out)?

      My understanding was that "thoughts and prayers" were empty when politicians who were unwilling to make any policy proposals to engage in a meaningful way with the deaths they were "mourning" made the gesture empty rhetoric- whether atheist or theist. But I should let him speak for himself; I will let him know you were asking questions in the comments and see if I can get him to jump in here. I am the one who responds to comments normally -taya

    Yeah, Taya, I worry about that too. But of course those corporations won't be trying to replace _all_ humans, since at least they want to keep themselves there making the money. But yeah, that stuff is still worrysome. And one guy I talked to says he believes that it's already too late to try to government-regulate it, at least in most potential ways! Ughh!

    Nah, just *figuratively.*

      You are correct! However, when they use the app, they will immediately have access to a real lawyer and be able to communicate with them in real-time, so one could argue they do have a lawyer in their pocket, just a 2-dimensional representation of the active consciousness and projection of their immediate thoughts, so in a sense, aren't they really in their pocket? Must they be physically embodied to be in their pocket, or is this extension of their consciousness enough to count as a "being?" It's kind of an interesting philosophical question! taya :) I think Descartes would agree having their thoughts and consciousness accessible in their pocket is their "being." Although other philosophers might disagree.

      How did having a phone worked out for Pastor Michael Jennings, who was watering his neighbor's plants.
      The cops took away his phone, he wasn't allowed to even call his wife.

      @@therealnews: Yeah, Taya, I know the person using the system should be able to communicate with an attorney in real *[ ]* time. But just on that system; not in person. So one could argue that since there isn't an attorney actually in that person's pocket, the attorney is still only "in there" _figuratively,_ NOT literally. Yes, the attorney can "be in the caller's pocket," but only figuratively. But you said "literally," which refers to the _actual live body_ of the attorney, hence my comment here with the correct information.

      Also, how well or not that the system works is one thing, but that wasn't the point of my comment here. And you don't have to worry about so-called "grift" with this. If you don't like the system then don't spend money on it, duh.

Hey, Tay, in case Steven doesn't also come in and read our comments and questions, remind him that he can use an easier way to say the years from this century just like he did for previous centuries: For example, 2019 can be said more quickly as "TWENTY-nineteen" because it has fewer syllables.

    I think Laura got it backwards as for "getting to the point" vs. the opposite. If Daniel is just sort of conversational but Laura is more like "I know what you did" right off, then Laura's the one who gets right to the point vs. Daniel.

    The right to record police was _already_ established not just in Circuit 10 but the whole nation LONG before this lawsuit by Eric. Anything that iterates it after those two sets of events (1. our births and 2. the Constitution) is just a _reinforcement/reminder_ of our right.

But then... if he's looking at fighting another charge and wants to do that, the most he should do is plead _no contest._ I get that it still forfeits a new trial, but at least it's not admitting to it like "guilty" does.
