Thanks for all the kind words and advise❤ So far nothing serious fight happens. I think it's all about Piko‘s pain，sometimes when we touched his untouchable area accidentally，we got the same reaction，but we don't blame him，he needs more love❤

Maple is such a sweetheart.She instinctively knows all about Pico her brother.She doesn’t give up on having a relationship with him and she never judges his reactions.Sometimes he’s feeling old but it doesn’t stop her from smelling touching or playing with him. She’s an amazing kitty.Pico really does love her he’s just a little spoiled likes all attention to him. All in all they are a dynamic duo.
Maple is still a kitten and needs a playmate to consume some of her excessive energy. Pico just can't play with her.
Cats sometimes nap with the tongue sticking out to keep their lips moist, I would imagine.
Maples feeling today we’re hurt. I wish Piko could be on some type of pain medication. However, he only swatted twice. In time past he would deliver more swats. I’ve had two cats that never got along and there fights were awful. I had to keep them in separate rooms. Piko is getting better with his little sister. We have to remember Piko has been an only child for 10 yrs.
Keep in mind Maple is getting stronger and growing up. They will continue to have spats but they won’t be as intense. Why…Maple has the advantage of moving away quicker😉. God bless their parents for being awesome parental guides for their fur babies.

It's sad to see Maple being mistreated by grumpy Piko.
I can almost feel Maple's sadness. She has tried so hard to be friends. She doesn't understand that Piko has back problems. Today it's like she is feeling rejection and that is a painful feeling in the heart.
@@janetnewsome6891 Granted, Piko has bone issues also due to being overweight for years. Yet pretty much every time Maple comes close to Piko he lashes out at her, so his pain can't be that much.
My cat would sleep with his tongue out. It always seemed to be when he was very relaxed or sleeping well. I love you, Piko!

I think that Piko wanted you to pet him first when you came home. He is dominant being male and has been your only cat for years before Maple arrived.
For domestic cats the male is not the head it's the female known as the Queen of the colony. Maybe, Maple is too young to be Queen but she will be in time.
Maybe you can get Maple an intelligence game? Were you can put some buskuits inside, and she has to find them.
