As for the silverware: the small spoon is likely for stirring the coffee/tea in the cup or maybe for dessert. The weird looking knife is not for butter, but for fish. It allows you to pull the fish off of the bone. And the rectangular bowl would likely be for something like asparagus.
0:31 These did actually belong to Hitler, he personally bought them with his own funds and were not state property. He complained that when he had parties, he always had to replace some pieces, as naturally people would sometimes steal them as souvenirs.
@@erichschaefer1963 Ah ok, my mistake, I thought you were referring to the silverware. Yea the dinnerware I know nothing about. If that's true, sad someone would ruin good Allach with bogus add ons.
I just took a picture of a set at the WW2 museum 2 weekends ago. What a coincidence! They also have a letter a GI wrote to his wife used on Hitler’s stationary.
I don't see a problem with taking stuff from Nazis, whether individuals or the state. Plus it's all pretty cool, just like the helmets, badges, guns and knives.
It's not theft. If it were theft, they would've been arrested and not been able to send anything home. So legally, it's fine. You do realize that someone was gonna take it right? What were they gonna do just leave it be after the Germans were defeated and Adolf Hitler killed? They were just gonna leave it in the room and it would stay there forever and ever lol???
I won a k98k from you on gun broker 12 days ago. I made sure all of the FFL stuff was squared away and it has not even shipped yet. Not a label, not an email, not anything. This is very frustrating. I've never waited this long for an item JUST TO SHIP OUT. Completely contradictory to the things I've been led to believe about your company. Very unsatisfied and questioning the professionalism of Legacy Collectibles.
Have faith. I’ve bought several items from them off Gunbroker. Only had one issue which they corrected immediately. Usually lightning fast shipping. Some kind of anomaly occurred, but they’ll make it right if the issue is on their end.
Have you tried calling or emailing them? I've bought thousands worth from legacy and haven't had an issue. They're pretty prompt with their emails and phone calls go to an actual human that can help.
Perhaps one day someone will be having a similar discussion about the Trump branded items he’s been grifting off of. Except it’s all junk that probably won’t last long enough to be keepsakes.

In a german commedy movie of 1980s/1990s a man proudly showed a handkerchief with orginal nose secret of Adolf ......
If this person who took these things didn't take them; someone else would have.
Ah, you are related to Joseph Finklestein?
Very relevant historical items! Definitely should be considered legitimate spoils of war.
Literally just looting.
Bert Kreischer is interested, haha.
@3:07 A fish knife, not a butter knife.
That's a great collection.
Tom Segura is gonna buy you guys out once he hears about this...

When does the Silverware go on sale??

It is not a butter knife but a knife for eating fish!
The dinnerware are known fantasy pieces. The dishes are authentic Allach but the AH was applied to fool collectors.
The silverware is original. Many many examples were brought back with provenance. They do however make fakes of them.
@ Agree but dinnerware is bogus.

I think those items are the property of my uncle Anton Humperding who was living in Berchtesgaden.
Interested in the silverwear. When is it going ON?
Fish knife wasn't it not a butter knife?
Interesting, thanks for sharing your videos 🎄🙏❄️
For sale?
UA-cam is real funny when it comes to the Nazi thing especially if it has Hitler attached to it
Probably an argentinaian?
I’ll take the lien for $100.

Can’t believe anyone would want these.
I guess you don’t understand ww2 collecting and preserving history.

Well, the same rules apply the other way as well ;)
