No. Matagal na silang nagcocompete. Ever since I started watching all-girl cheer like NCC and WNCAA , ang lakas nila sa tumblings and stunts. I do agree that this run is not the cleanest, but this is a good start. I hope that this experience will push SPCP to challenge themselves to execute new and more difficult stunts. As someone who has been watching this team since 2013, the routines are getting repetitive na. We need something fresh and we need to be back in the podium. 9 years na since our last medal. Congratulations team Pilipinas and SPCP Pep Varsity.
Thank you for these comments! The Team is in transition right now with a few members graduating and at least 10 new members moving up from the GS Pep Varsity team. The HS Pep Varsity Team will also be going with a new coach for the next tournament season after 18+ years with Coach Ramon.

The basis for sending teams fo the ICU Worlds is the National Cheerleading Championships run by Cheer Pilipinas. It's not the UAAP cheerdance competition. Di sila nanalo dahil marami silang mistakes at di nagsasabay sabay. Needs more practice for better results. Too many mistakes cause a lot of point reductions. At least they tried their best.
This group is actually not the Philippines’ best in Cheer Leading. They are only the best team who are members of this Federation. Try watching the cheer leading teams in UAAP. They have the best cheer leading teams the Philippines can offer.

May Coed Category kung saan nag pa tryout yung Cheer Pilipinas, the national governing body of the sport of cheerleading in the Philippines (parang SBP for basketball) last June 2023 for this competition. I believe mga UAAP graduates yung mga kinuha nila for that category. It is kinda disappointing but somewhat expected. We are a very hard nation to please. We want instant gratification and we rarely "trust the process".
