I'm glad you did this, i tend to just damp about 4 inches of hair all over and do one slick back rather than sectors. For me the only other thing would be to tie it down for a few minutes

i think that it’s probably easier to get it done so fast when you have longer natural hair just because you don’t have to worry about getting it super slick to retain length. idk tho

i used vivid red by creme of nature but my hair was previously bleached before i went red.
