I would really like to know what is wrong with it are we upset that they are outside I am asking the question to get an understanding on why this was made not trolling or anything I am interested to know why this statement was made?
@@dontrealgraham7474 just look at them really. Like I said I'm not in the church but was raise in it like so many others. But we see this it's like how can you reach us if your acting like us. And you can't be on the internet trash talking then come to a gospel stage and try to minster. I'm not judging anyone because I got to get myself together we all come short. Trust me when I tell you a lot of people that don't go to church says that can't be gospel music. God don't need nobody acting like the world to draw people to him. One last thing when you see secular artists record or sings gospel music it's sounds like gospel but some gospel artists music sounds like secular.
So who's drawing who. And what they don't seem to understand they're upset with the church for not accepting their music. But not realizing some of the people they're trying to reach are saying why should I go to church when they're acting, dancing, and cussing like us. Don't get me wrong I like a good beat but your beat takes the focus off God it's just another jam. Just my opinion.
@@bromil96 I agree with everything you said that is very true that’s why I asked for context Bc a lot of times ppl say things like that and have no substance to support it but I agree with you if your going to minister and sing for go let it be pure so that when some looks at you the see a image of what god wants us to be and if it is pure nothing needs to be added I agree thank you for helping me🙏🏿

I don't agree with you at all. Gospel is a music gengre, but no everybody has to sound similar like in RNB, Pop etc. you have one gengre, but everybody had their own sound. There are enough people in the Gospel industry who doing that type of sound that you want, and it's fine, you can listen to them. If Mary Mary or the brand erica campell don't help you to get closer to good, you can listen to other Artist.
But one thing I can say for sure, Mary Mary and Erica's songs helped a lot of people to get closer to God, ain't nothing wrong with their sound. Maybe you don't fell god with that type of music, but there are Millions of others who does. Don't forget, just because you like the old Church sound, it doesn't mean that the new generation will listen to it.
As fashion, food, education changes, so does music. Every generation brings something different, and every generation is more difficult to convince
