I remember seeing them at a gig in Wales around this time. When they first walked on stage in all matching tight black jeans and leather jackets, me and my mates thought "what a bunch of posers." By the end of the gig we were total converts! Absolutely blistering set. I still have an ASDA CD at home that the drummer gave me which simply has "Catfish and the Bottlemen share this cd" written on it in scrawled marker pen. On a side note, Charlotte Church was in the crowd at this gig, so that should have been a clue that they obviously had a bit about them if a local celeb was there checking them out.
GGramZ To be honest I was just having fun going to gigs & enjoying myself, if the video was half decent for people to watch it was a bonus. Van txt me & asked if I could get him a video of Milburns last ever gig, luckily I had one left so I arranged to go & see the bottlemen at Powers Bar in Edgware Road, Van was electric on stage how he didn't go flying lol I was totally blown away & realised I'd seen something special... I went to every london gig after & got to know them, Van asked me not to post any videos at the time so that's the reason I've only just been putting them on UA-cam. Thanks for watching & you're interest mate not a lot of people interact so it's greatly appropriated.
@@Ilegalmoveman why do you think van asked you to do not post the videos??? I guess it wouldve been awesome to fans to have more content, but thanks mate for posting/sharing this treasures
@@gianella2154 They were up & down the country almost everyweek as I recall 🤔 even when they weren't playing they were going to gigs & leaving flyers & free Cds on car window screens...
Amazing video, cant believe how undiscovered it is!
