Thanks for another great reaction to & appreciation of another masterful performance by Angelina - this time of her final NGT performance which resulted in her becoming the youngest NGT winner ever - at 8 years old. But her & our musical journey is just beginning here ... A couple of more gems from Angelina while she was still 8: What A Difference A Day Makes which she sang outdoors at a Norwegian summer music festival & her USA debut on The View singing Fly Me To The Moon (which includes a short interview). Well done Paulie, closing your eyes to listen to a angel sing to you. Angelina closes her eyes and enters her special world when she sings. She describes it as endless and filled with happiness. Thankfully she has the magic to take us to her special world. The effect her voice has on me is nothing short of magical. While we angels are so excited for her new single and her album, most of all, I want to know her concert schedule. I have no doubt hearing Angelina live will be a life changing experience.

Paulie, as you, I enjoyed all of her performances here. Although, the last one was the culmination of all her efforts and I think was the best for me. Also one of the best known jazz numbers which of course is her wheelhouse.
I'd like to recommend an additional artist to react to. Along with Angelina, she is my other favorite artist. Her name is Eva Cassidy. She was a jazz, blues, and folk singer and guitarist, played during the 1980s and '90s. Unfortunately, she died from melanoma in 1996 at the age of only 33. She was not widely known other than her home base of Washington DC, but after her death became an international legend and sold over 20 million albums. Eva's voice is heavenly, And although she has dozens of performances, her rendition of Over the Rainbow is considered one of the finest ever recorded. Just hauntingly beautiful.
I mentioned Eva Cassidy for a second reason. Eva was also well-known for her rendition of Fields of Gold. Coincidentally, Angelina recorded Fields of Gold herself within the past couple of years. So not only are there individual recordings of this song by the two artists, but there was a virtual duet mashup created of the two of them singing Fields of Gold together. I would highly recommend Over the Rainbow first, And then the mashup duet of the two of them. Thanks and I look forward to it!😅

Of the 10 finalist acts Angelina, got 46% of the votes to win, the other 9 shared the remaining 54%. Before you react to her Fly Me To the Moon on The View when she was 8, I recommend her cover of Dinah Washington's, What a Difference a Day Makes, about a month after she won NGT. Dinah won a Grammy for her version, but I think Angelina's version is equally as good, if not better. I think it's her best "Baby Angelina" Performance. Thank you Paulie for your reactions to our ray of light it was a joy to watch these for the first time and still now it is just as beautiful every time someone else discovers her. She is magical and it's something that most of humanity has lost, She has a calm, poise and gentle way about her , so sincere, so real she gives us all of her right from the very core of her pure heart and brings so much joy and love into peoples lives , words become obsolete because the divine is beyond words it's something you feel and know in your heart and must be experienced and she is that a beautiful reflection for humanity to see themselves.💗
