Oh man I really want there to be a sequel that follows the kid growing up and maybe it sort of ends how this one starts with them going off to college or something
Actually the first one is their childhood room from when they were maybe 10 or so, you can tell from the fact that one dialogue option is “finally, my own room!” And after the breakup, they move back to their childhood room with their parents. I love this game so much, it’s so cute!
here is a little list of delightful details I’ve found over my 3 playthroughs of this game. You find new things every time you play. - you can spam right click on the microwave and side table clocks to set the correct times - you can right click while holding the childhood rubix cube to solve it - right click to turn on music devices like the boom box in childhood, and the boyfriends record player. They have pretty appropriate songs for the time periods they’re played in. - the toothbrush AND toothpaste fit inside the bathroom cup - Each gaming console (one per chapter) WILL TURN ON and display a different game on the tv. You can also turn on the protagonist’s computer/pc whenever the screen is up and open. It displays a booting up sequence, then either her desktop or a program. It’s different each time. Sometimes it’s triggered by clicking the pc, sometimes it’s by clicking the pc tower. - you can draw on the fridge white board by right clicking on it - you can flush every toilet shown in the game. - you can make an equation with the fridge magnets :) - in the collection of blu rays, I’ve recognized the movies Jaws, Up, and perhaps Saw. I suspect they’re all real movies I just haven’t recognized yet. among the video games, you can recognize Mario karts, Wii sports, and possibly splatoon. The boyfriend has call of duty and a guitar hero looking game. in childhood home, the yellow, tall book is Peter Pan. With the board games is “procedure” (operation) and “radioactive narwhals” (unstable unicorns) (which is a hilarious game I highly recommend) - there is a second game mode. Chaos mode. In which every single item must be in the wrong spot. Like every clothes hanger and magnet, and you collect Dark Stars. It’s so much fun. - our final partner seems to be the writer/director for a movie series called “Anti-Hero,” for there is a mug, a tshirt, a framed movie ticket, a baseball cap, and four Blu-ray Discs that appear to have the main color scheme as the merch. I also believe we’re talking about a writer/director, and not just a fan, because of the amount of film theory books and the notepad that stays on the bedside table. This is a creative soul who is very accomplished and learned. I rest my case. - the main character comes from a family with a mom and dad, and a sister, perhaps a younger sister. They're jewish (as seen via the menorah and the Jewish style dice in the childhood room), and according to the devs, she does indeed suffer from chronic back pain, though it isn’t specified if it’s genetic, or work related, or accident related, etc. the protagonist’s color scheme gets darker with more black and purple when she moves in with boyfriend, but gets more colorful again once she moves back out. You can see her hair/skin color if you compare the picture of her and her family to the one with her and her boyfriend; she is, obviously, the only common denominator in the photos. (Apologies I cannot remember rn which she is, or I’d say it here. But you can get a glimpse at her in game, nonetheless) - main character seems to work at the equivalent of Starbucks for a while; the apron, shirt, and hat match the aesthetic. Just, it’s a pumpkin instead of the Starbucks logo, for obvious copyright reasons - ⭐️ you don’t have to put the diploma under the bed in the boyfriends house. You can clear his stuff from the top of the closet dresser and it can be placed there instead. Not Much better, but at least we get to look at it each time we get dressed 🥲 - right clicking on lights turns them on. Lava lamps, desk lamps, side table lamps, etc. they have their own unique lighting colors respectively! - the little painted rocks aren’t decorations- if you right click while holding them, you pull the top off to reveal they’re actually tiny succulent jars :’) - in chaos mode, toilet paper rolls aren’t the only stackable objects you can store in the TP tower in the last chapter. You can put books and the kitchen rice tower thing in there 😂 - you can change the pose of the little drawing mannequin by holding it and right clicking. - when you finish a chapter, you can go back to it in the album view. If you switch to a different room and click the star again, the main character will have something new to say about each room in the house. You can learn a lot of lore that way! That’s all I can think of for now. There is a ton of depth and detail in this game. I know How to collect all the stickers, but I won’t spoil that. I included one or two in this list but didn’t specify what triggers the event. I love this game. Give chaos mode a try, it’s outrageous XD
This game is amazing. You start out as a little kid who finally gets their own room. You like to read and draw, discovering a passion for art. You then go off to uni. You don’t have much space, but you push through and get your degree in art. After that, you move in with friends. They have enough space for you, but you can’t stay forever. You then move in with your boyfriend. It's a nice place, but you have to put your degree under the bed, a metaphor for you having to give up on your passion. This inevitably leads to your break up. You are devastated and move back in with your parents. Your personality shows much more in your old room, and you move on. You then move too your own place, and you seem a lot happier. Then your girlfriend/wife (doesn’t say which) moves in. She loves plants and brings more life into your home. The two of you then buy a house in anticipation of a baby, and the game ends with you and your wife happy.
This game showed up on home page with someone else playing it, then I found this account with shubble’s livestreams and I’m literally about to watch the whole thing.
