I guess my interpretation of the ending with Banksy is that while the initial reaction might’ve been jarring, instead of playing safe, they figuratively shredded the their “safe concept” in front the public with this video. Their hope is that people will revisit this video and approach it with a broader mindset, like how the shredded painting ended up being appraised 25 times more than the original value when it was fully intact.

This is my first introduction to K-pop by a friend, despite me not really liking the genre that much. Mostly because I dislike cutesy style stuff and comes off as disingenuous to me (even if most of it is all in good fun) This song embodies that and calls it out, and boy am I all for it.
if you think the lead single is great , you should listen to the rest of the songs in their latest album. each song represents a different meaning yet having the same importance. i personally recommend Change! the meaning is so relatable and sad but also a huge bop!!

I guess my interpretation of the ending with Banksy is that while the initial reaction might’ve been jarring, instead of playing safe, they figuratively shredded the their “safe concept” in front the public with this video. Their hope is that people will revisit this video and approach it with a broader mindset, like how the shredded painting ended up being appraised 25 times more than the original value when it was fully intact.

It comes from the Carmen's aria "Habanera", which is the introduction of the opera's main character. I found some infos about it, and I understand why they chose that piece exactly.
