As a Woman Veteran, I wore the same uniform. She was in the Women's Army corps. Her name sounds familiar. I was a Personnel Records Specialist while serving before her death in 1980. May you Rest In Peace Sister Veteran Tamara Tygard, and may you be in the comfort of God! Thanks for the tireless effort of this detective who went above and beyond to solve her identity!!!

This whole thing is stupid, a waste of time and money and little more than a publicity stunt. Of course, they are no closer to naming a suspect.
They trot crap like this out all the time. Since the 1960s, the closure rate for homicide nationwide has dropped from about 91% to 63% today. That means 37 of every hundred murderers go free.
Instead of chasing the killer of a woman who has no close living relatives, they should be putting their scarce expensive resources towards murders committed in the last 20 years.

@@tarstarkusz, you have GOT to be one of the coldest, cruelest people to EVER post on UA-cam! Sooner or later karma always comes around and this veteran deserved a better fate than just a "Jane Doe" grave site. I would guess you feel the same way about the program to identify the remains of those murdered at Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941, or those found on the subsequent battle fields of the war that followed. At least her surviving cousins now have some closure as to the mystery that has been in their family all of these years and there is NO statute of limitations on a homicide so maybe the scum that killed her will finally pay! I really feel sorry for you and people like you.

How did the woman in Ohio obtain the victim's ID? She knew enough about her to fake her identity and close the missing person's case that was filed in Las Vegas. It makes no sense. Was the victim's family informed that she was no longer "missing" but had been found? It will be more interesting than some television crime drama to find out how this is resolved, if they're ever able to draw the loose ends together.

I disagree, A LOT. It's not like the cops have a high closure rate for murder. All of the resources wasted on this is insane. The nationwide closure rate (solve rate) has plummeted since the 60s when it was in the 90s percentage. It is now down to 63%. They are no closer to an arrest and the murderer may very well be dead of old age.
It's a publicity stunt and a costly one at that. People who committed murders last week are getting away while this idiot is chasing a 40 year old murder. Just to add icing to an already lousy cake, she doesn't even have any close living relative to mourn her.

"You will be mesmerized that that book contains everything you need to know about the past , present and future. "
It remains that the bible, in all of it’s manifold versions, is just an anonymously authored collection, an 'inspired" compendium, easily exploited by means of retrodiction, naiveness, and selective interpretation. And even more importantly, it is still just *nothing more than prejudiced ink stains on paper; it is only YOU who gives it special meaning.*

I guess because she was missing from Las Vegas and her unidentified body was found in Oklahoma. Surely they should look for this woman if she's still alive. Obviously the murderer.
