@@Pavel7918 Yeah that's exactly Alexander's point. It's TOO good in smash 4, it makes the meta even at the top level retarded because movement is so limited in that game
axe is really fucking insane. Ik hes said he doesnt play as well with any other character than pikachu but if he could hypothetically transfer his skill and be just as good with a top tier hed win crazy amounts of tourneys
On number 1, I don't remember who said this, but being slow can be good to counter spaceys. Since spacing is also based on predicting movement, not moving or simply walking can be great to throw off someone's game.
PPMD. I have a lot of respect for him- even when he has issues with depression and testosterone, even when he doesn't travel to tournaments frequently, he's still a top tier threat, all because he can improve himself without even playing other people. He always can look at a game differently and experiment with it to find new options and new ways to improve his play, just by having an internet connection and a Wii. You will never hear johns such as "I lost because I didn't play for a long time so I'm rusty" from PPMD, if anything, he can win because he's taken the game in a far different direction than everyone. I aspire to be a player like PPMD. Smash 4 is Dabuz because I hate myself and I'm also a memer
+Jordan Severns Fox can only shine every 8 frames, and Falco 11. With negligible shieldstun, this is actually a really bad option. Buffer roll will escape, and some characters like Marth or Sheik have fast enough OoS options to hit Fox.
The correct answer is M2K. He's the only melee God capable of being a Brawl God, and a sm4sh God too, at the same time. This makes him THE God of Smash. ALALOL M2KBAR!.
My favourite smasher is Isai just being able to have the presence of being able to beat anyone at any time is really impressive and his Falcon is super rad
Favorite of all time is Isai. Mostly because of how dedicated he was to growing the SSB64 scene and how much he contributed to the birth of competitive Melee. Plus it's amazing to see one person playing every single character in the game very well.
westballz is the most fun to watch and that in a game that is basically always fun to watch. He just puts an extra layer on it and he is one of the few players where their personality comes through ever so distinctively in their playstyle. watching westballz powering up in the middle of a set when he just destroys his opponent in the sickest way creates a feeling in me that no sport or other game could ever accomplish. Basically the ultimate viewer experience!
2:44 that is the dirtiest controller I've ever seen. Look at the dirt in those creases. PLEASE clean that. Also Mang0 for making the world see that there's a counter to everything including "optimal" options.
Mango For schooling nintendude And for recently beating hungrybox He's always been a natural yet an underdog as well. It's great seeing him constantly evolve
Easily Armada. He more than any other smasher has the heart of a champion and it shows. He's also pushed both Fox's and Peach's punish game meta in new and beautiful directions.
I haven't been watching competitive smash for long, but as of now my favorite player is definitely Westballz, his combo game is insane and I happen to main Falco so I love watching him and trying to model my game around his
I can imagine how the ICs intro would go. "Do you love sucking the love and fun out of a game as you wobble you foe into oblivion? Then you must main Ice Climbers!" Also, dat boi Bizzaro Flame is my fav
Probably Aniki, he's the reason i started playing Melee again, without the items, im going back to like 2005/2006 here. Plus he did well in the days without wavedashing.
Shield grabbing is a habit I struggle really hard to break, especially since I play marth and sheik and the payoff is sooooo huge, and most people I play against regularly still get hit by it. I started using nair out of shield, though, and up-b out of shield (for marth), and it is working out pretty well so far. Wavedash OoS is hard for me to do, though, since I use R to shield and to wavedash, so I'm working on that.
My favorite players: N64: Studstill SSBM: between Armada and M2K (and AXE) SSBB: Lucky SSBwiiU: ACESTARTHE3RD!!! It was very ironic that you added videos of him into this video after I finished watching one of his Zelda undefeatables. (P.S: My favorite of all time is ace!)
Hungrybox. (Easily clutch, perhaps the most of all time, has shown how a chatacter can evolve over time, & he makes fun of himself. I've never understood why Americans don't get behind this guy, he always seems to be the one who defeats the Europeans when Mango or M2K can't.)
My favourite player of all time is the GOAT himself... Armada! Have enjoyed watching his Peach ever since I joined the scene and his Fox is a sight of beauty. ;)
I have a quick question: I've heard a lot of people say that the best way to wavedash out of shield is by holding the shield button down but not clicking the button, then jumping and clicking that button towards the ground like a normal wavedash. My issue with this is that I usually just click down the button all the way when I want to shield fully and wavedashing out of it is difficult because I either have to unclick the shield button quickly then wavedash out or use the other button for the airdodge, which is annoying. I guess my fix would be to never click the button down when I'm shielding, but that just seems really annoying and even when I do airdodge out of shield my timing is always off and I just air dodge with no wavedash. It's annoying :(
1. You never asked a question lol 2. You don't have to light shield to do this with one button. You can simply release and re-click the shoulder button (and you don't have to release it all the way to the top, just enough so that it's not fully clicked down). 3. You can also learn to wavedash or shield with the other shoulder button.
+SSBM Tutorials Oh awesome! Thank you for replying, that makes a lot more sense now. Also, what method do you prefer? Do you reclick the button or use the other sheild button?
Hi Kira, I'm a long time fan of your videos and I've always wanted to make smash videos on my own! I was wondering what settings you record your smash on since dolphin smash isn't the right resolution and I was also wondering what video editor you use for your vids! I would deeply appreciate your help, thanks!!
'rolling'... immediately swaps to smash 4 footage, lol
Alexander Lane Rolling is much better in smash 4 than it is in melee.
@@Pavel7918 Yeah that's exactly Alexander's point. It's TOO good in smash 4, it makes the meta even at the top level retarded because movement is so limited in that game
My Shield-grabbing habit was broken pretty quickly when I started maining Samus
What's up guys. You already know I'm going to mention the green stand still 20xx option. It's me, Kira.

axe is really fucking insane. Ik hes said he doesnt play as well with any other character than pikachu but if he could hypothetically transfer his skill and be just as good with a top tier hed win crazy amounts of tourneys
Mango all the way, I just love his random play style and crispy tech skill
On number 1, I don't remember who said this, but being slow can be good to counter spaceys. Since spacing is also based on predicting movement, not moving or simply walking can be great to throw off someone's game.

What issue with testosterone does he have?
My favorite player is WestBallz. "Plays circus music"
"every shield pressure option has a counter"
*MULTI SHINES VIGOROUSLY*
+Jordan Severns Fox can only shine every 8 frames, and Falco 11. With negligible shieldstun, this is actually a really bad option. Buffer roll will escape, and some characters like Marth or Sheik have fast enough OoS options to hit Fox.
FishamanP the narrator is specifically talking about non-roll options but ya good point
+Jordan Severns To beat Multishines:
- shield DI away
- light shield
- roll when they dont expect it
any of those 3 work
+SSBM Tutorials frame perfect multishines beat the roll though
+SkaterLauro Depends on staling of the shine actually. And shine will usually be stale soo :/

Mango, Leffen, Westballz and Ken

Easily Armada. He more than any other smasher has the heart of a champion and it shows. He's also pushed both Fox's and Peach's punish game meta in new and beautiful directions.

use instant short hop fair oos
MEW2KING is the best smash player of all time, he's the only person who is top 20 in 3 games
4 if you count PM
+LolzSquid 4 games
+Sparkly Raccoon only if you count PM
he is at the top in all games though
+Sparkly Raccoon not 64. But I'm sure if he practiced 64 he would be top 10
M2k. The true king. He loves smash as a whole and isn't just stuck on one game.
Westballz
This video helped so much! Even tho I'm a old school player these videos do really help!
M2K Zero P:
Isai I guess but he is retired so meh.
Favorite Smasher? I don't watch tournaments personally, but... Dark. He's absolutely frame-perfect.

Hax$ babyyy
I love axe and mango. personally can't decide between the two. and I love mangos opinions on melee
Hungrybox.

Personally my favorite player is PPMD because of his insights into the game
m a n g o
My favourite player of all time is the GOAT himself... Armada! Have enjoyed watching his Peach ever since I joined the scene and his Fox is a sight of beauty. ;)
FOW, one of the greatest players of my main in Smash 4 and, in the future, Ultimate.
Thanks for this video! Very helpful. My favorite smash player is Hbox!
My favorite smash player has got to be... Kira :) He's taught me more than any other player has. Thanks man.
That is a really hard question Kira, but i'm gonna go for PPMD Kreygasm
My personal favorite player is wobbles. But followed extremely closely by bizzaro flame, abate, and triple r.
thank you. I may not have melee but is that green stand still practice in PM?
Favorite smasher of all time? Obviously Kira :P
My favorites, and why:
Mang0 is stylish.
M2k is just good, at every smash game too.
Leffen is from mah city.
Prof's Snake is pretty cool.

+SSBM Tutorials ok
I really love Isai, after watching "The Smash Brothers" he just became my favorite, poor guy.
Isai, without a doubt, is my favourite smash player of all time. In his prime, he was unstoppable.
Favorite smasher: mangoW
Hi Kira, I'm a long time fan of your videos and I've always wanted to make smash videos on my own! Professor Pro.... but his PM shenanigans.
