I agree with learning more about the sailing terms since I have never been on a sailboat. And maybe chat about where you see yourself in 3-6 months? Most of us dont live our dreams, and here you are..... doing it!
Hey friend! We Loved your stories! We are curious what motivated you to go on this adventure. And your background story about how you became a modern Argonaut! We realized we don’t really know the Blake that bought/fixed up your boat and how you got to where you are on this adventure. We didn’t see you guys a whole lot during that chapter 😁 The Wargas
Such an epic journey. I got complements on my crew shirt and mentioned your channel so hopefully sending some views your way. Love to see optimistic Blake, I am never worried to see the other Blake even on our journeys together because I know no matter how hard it gets you make the best of the situation and move forward. When I moved into my van with no idea what it would be like I never expected the amount of freedom that would come with it. Sometimes it was a bit overwhelming but most of the time it was quite freeing. Do you ever have those moments where you are like "this is my boat" and you have to convince yourself this crazy awesome lifestyle is like what your doing now and isn't just temporary. Also any merch soon? I might be able to help with some cool multicolor 3D prints with your logo or a mini alba model flash drive people can get with some cool exclusive vids. Just an idea. Im itching to sail with you again soon.
@@Bodenlanham no idea on merch yet it’s been tough I’m so disconnected I’ll be coming to a dock soon so maybe some updates then. Yeah sometimes I get those wow moments they are pretty magical. I’m looking forward to you sailing again too I think having other people around makes the adventure so much better
So amazing how you went from putting miles on your tennis shoes at Trail Winds to sailing in a world unknown to you. I am so stinking impressed and also learning to surf. Have you tried doing any fishing? Well here's to more great adventures on the ocean. :)
Hi Blake, awesome that you’re doing this grand adventure! We love following your journey and hearing about the challenges and triumphs. Why are you waiting until November to head to Mexico?
I enjoyed your ramblings. One thing you could talk about while you have time is explain some of the boating terms you use for those of us who know nothing about boats. In this video you spoke of spiner, tack and jive. I'd like to know what they mean and how they affect your sailing. Do you write poetry? If so perhaps you might share with us. Sharing more views of your surroundings would be nice. Let us see what you are seeing from your boat. I think you can grow this channel once you start sailing more and get out of America.

Love your honesty and acceptance of and learning from hardships in life. Very zen!

Yes fishing is awesome out here! I am really getting excited for the passage to Mexico I am hoping to get a tuna or a dorado!
While you're in anchorages, do you get enough time to go into town at all in some places?

November is the end of hurricane season over here on the pacific so it the first safe window.
@@Modern_Argonaut Gotcha. Keep posting the videos and updates on your progress.

Quick question, why sit around and wait? Why not just sail to Mexico.
