I played this so loud one night, they called the cops on me. The locals came down and arrested me, as they were taking me away in cuffs, they asked me, if I could play it again, real loud!
I second that motion and add a BIG AMEN! ( I'm just wondering if this young lady understood all of the lyrics and if she knew the sad story about the original band?) here's hoping so! 😎
A real foot stomper! It was written by veteran songwriter, J.J. Cale, who also recorded it. J.J. has written tons of hit songs. Another one you might know is Cocaine, which J.J., and Eric Clapton both recorded.
I'd add early CDB to the mix. Basically everybody mentioned in The South's Gonna Do It Again. Those mentioned plus Elvin Bishop, Wet Willie Barefoot Jerry, Grinderswitch.
How you know you’re southern: you’re watching this, tickled someone else loves this song, while watching a hurricane landfall out your window and eating boiled peanuts.
Love Skynyrd! You should try their live performances...the feel of their live ones are incredible! You should start with Freebird live 1977 in Oakland! Trust me! You'll like it!
This was totally MY band and everything the band did before the tragic plane crash was a great song. Watching them live is a special treat. 3 lead guitars? ...awesomeness...
Great song and reaction. Billy Powell just kills it on piano. Might I suggest a band to check out that no one has reacted to. Robert Randolph and the Family Band. I really think you will enjoy them. "Ain't Nothing Wrong With That", "Amped Up" and "If I Had My Way" are just a few of excellent songs by them. They are definitely worth a listen.
Yeah, Robert Randolph and the Family Band ... Robert can really play that pedal steel guitar, and I like the fact he uses the distortion effect with a lot of their songs! 👍👍😎
I was introduced to this when I got a copy of the 1976 live album that Christmas. That is still my favorite version. That side of the album starts with Gimme Three Steps, meet right into CMTB, and then there is a about a minute of Ronnie introducing Steve Gaines as a new member and T for Texas (Jimmy Rodger's Blue Yodel #1). For all around enjoyment, it's darned hard to beat those versions.
Git down with yourself young Lady, loved your reaction. I can't dance but to this, after a ton of "Adult" beverages, I think I can lol. As always keep up the great work
Just saw skynard last night at daytona motor speedway/with metallica-WOW! They both sound just as good if not btr live! Pretty JT love your reaction to the kings of southern rock and my 2nd favorite tune “call me the breeze”. If you get the chance react to my all time favorite Lynrd Skynrd performance called “T for Texas” in Knebworth, England 1976. Unbelievable.

Ed King was on second helping as well,he's gone too now.
Gary has been gone a year now. All the originals are jamming together again.
Some of the Greatest Musicians to ever Perform
The Bass line is soo simple but it's one of my favorite things about this song
What a great verse, "I ain't hiding from nobody, nobody's hiding from me, oh that's the way it's supposed to be".
Hands down, the my favorite Lynyrd Skynrd!

"I ain't hidin from nobody. Nobody's hidin from me
And that's the way it's supposed to be". Good life advice I think.
A real foot stomper! It was written by veteran songwriter, J.J. Cale, who also recorded it. J.J. has written tons of hit songs.
Another one you might know is Cocaine, which J.J., and Eric Clapton both recorded.
Allman Brothers and Lynyrd Skynyrd, best southern rock ever.
I would add Marshall Tucker and The Outlaws to that list
I'd add early CDB to the mix. Basically everybody mentioned in The South's Gonna Do It Again. Those mentioned plus Elvin Bishop, Wet Willie Barefoot Jerry, Grinderswitch.
@@rockinredneck57 I would say CDB missed a few Blackfoot 38 special
How you know you’re southern: you’re watching this, tickled someone else loves this song, while watching a hurricane landfall out your window and eating boiled peanuts.
First off, you have such a beautiful face. Second, your reactions are fabulous. You’re very expressive, and I love it!
Pure swing and boogie! Complements of those boys from my hometown Jacksonville Fl..
late 70's my big sis introduced me to Skynyrd and there was no looking back.
RIP Michelle you taught me some great lessons xo
Love Skynyrd! You should try their live performances...the feel of their live ones are incredible! You should start with Freebird live 1977 in Oakland! Trust me! You'll like it!
When the stank face hits, u know it's good. R.I.P. R.V.Z.
One of my favorites from this band. It doesn't get covered enough for sure. Thanks for taking the time to do it.
Lynyrd Skynyrd | On The Hunt

This was totally MY band and everything the band did before the tragic plane crash was a great song. Watching them live is a special treat. 3 lead guitars? ...awesomeness...

Billy Powell on piano. "He played it pretty!" RIP.

Yes, primal instincts definitely come out...those horns are the icing on the cake!
The guys in the band had a PE teacher named Leonard Skynerd. Thus the name of the band...😊
