Demo Reel 2017

It's been a while since I've updated my reel, finally had the time to work on one.
Lots of reels are super flashy and upbeat; "zing! wow look at all my stuff! " which is fine usually because you want your content to be strong, exciting, vibrant and new.
But, well this is Drama. It's not always cheerful and colorful, but it's still powerful. I was hoping to take a different approach, with a more sad and solemn tone, but still showcasing some of the best shots.
Enjoy! I'm really hoping for feedback on this, and how it can be improved.
I DO NOT OWN THE RIGHTS TO THIS MUSIC. The song is "Safe Now" by Henry Jackman. The video will never be monetized, the song is only there to help demonstrate by film making abilities.

Love the music! Are you able to use orchestras and music for your own personal gain in order to build a portfolio/demo reel. Worried since I’m using my demo reel to make money UA-cam will copyright it? Hope to hear back this is something along the lines I thinking as well

Hey, thanks! Unfortunately if you're directly making money off the video, you have to own the license to the track, or have creative commons music. This video is not monetized, it's merely for showing people my cinematography/editing, so as long as I acknowledge that I don't own the rights to this song then that's perfectly legal. I hope this helps!
