Eyes treatment camp - Civic School for the Blind extends free eye services to communities in Buwama

In response to the shortage of eye specialists in Mpigi district Cevic School for the Blind children and Mengo Eyes Hospital have organized a free eye treatment camp in Buwama to handle critical visual impairments.
The Headmistress of Cevic School for the Blind, Teddy Namakula, expressed her relief at the initiative, emphasizing its importance for communities lacking the resources to access eye-related services.
A clinician from Mengo Eyes Hospital Dr. David Nsamba painted a picture of the widespread issue of eye diseases among children and adults.
