- Visiting a beach in China during the busy May Holiday was quite an experience. This beach I visited in Shenzhen China was called XiaoMeiShe and it was a small beach resort located about 1 hour outside of the city center. This beach was so crowded due to the holiday and I had so much fun relaxing like a local and enjoying the experience.

The people at this beach are super entertaining: red scarf lady, raft-as-a-hat guy, lady on beach in a dress...And I can’t recall ever seeing a beach that’s sponsored before. Lunch looks good and I’m glad you found some sunblock. That could have been bad 😂
I have never seen a beach sponsored so much before. It could have been so bad if I didn't find sunblock.

CORONA EXTRA! AHHA. SO FUNNY! That the whole place is sponsored by that Beer company and the logos are are on everything! Can't believe you didn't have sun screen on beach day!!! Don't get burned! Two beers and no food yet! HAHA. That is truly the life!
Can't believe the beach you wanted to go to was closed off! Your food looks amazing though and you are right, the best ones are the ones are more local because it's more authentic experience. You are NOT ghostly! You are fair :)

I was so enamoured with the kiddo throwing the face mask and bucket, haha
and I wish China could spread out the holidays more so you don't have people, mountain people, sea incidents going on.
It’s so fun to people watch. There were some masks spread about but so good to have a 5 day holiday this year.
You went to XiaoMeiSha - the nongmin beach ! :-) You should have gone to DaPeng, or Nan Ao, a little further on, and got a private beach house.
I was like LMAO 🤣 when the lady holding a red scarf fell down…
It was so funny! I think she did it on purpose so I knew she thought it was funny too.
Maybe she was expecting a Prince Charming coming to her rescue🤣🤣

Wow! So many people. On holidays is too crowded. I was there on this Saturday, nice beach and wasn't so many people there . Pretty good place to go and not so far as Dongchong
I really enjoyed my time there.
I was in 大梅沙 next to this 小梅沙 a few years ago. It was bigger with huge statues and was free at that time. 😇

The way you eat noodles is very traditional Chinese. I saw some foreigners like to eat the noodles by rolling them around their chopsticks instead of picking them up and sucking them into the mouth.
Haha. I love noodles. I can’t imagine wrapping them around my chopsticks.
That was exactly how I did as a child learning how to use chopsticks. 🤣

In China, as long as you don't drive and drink, the law doesn't care, but driving and drinking will lead to imprisonment and cancellation of driver's license
