Bella Beaute Bar is my favorite indie Brand. My palette is working great. My eyes stained a reddish color when I use a purple or red but, that’s all I have had issues with. I’m sorry you are having a hard time with the palette. 😢
Thank you, thank you. That pisses me off so much! It's not bad and crappy just because one has a reaction to it. THANK YOUto somebody who has common sense a plenty
Also high quality products can depending on the person regardless can cause allergies. I had a drunk elephant skin care product test sprayed on my arm cause immediate hives and red rashes on my arm and that's an expensive sephora skin care brand.
That's so weird. I bought the Recently Deinfluenced palette last year and it was my go-to palette for all of fall and well into winter, and I'm still grabbing it occasionally. I can't say enough good things about it. I have the jewel palette, too, and while I like that one less it's more because I tend not to wear rainbow palettes on the daily as much, but there are definitely some gorgeous shades in it. This is the first review of this one that I've seen, so I'll have to do more research because the shades are right up my alley (though I tend to agree with you about the matte white being meh--I can see why it's in the color story but I have plenty in other palettes already).
I appreciate your honesty. Its rare anymore amongst the beauty community. Im staying away from this brand. Great review. I reccomend Jolie Beauty. They are definitely worth the price and they produce some of the most beautiful duochromes ive ever used.
Also ive had zero issues with fall out granted for multichrome shades i always use nyx glitter glue and for the brush issue i use very dense flat shader brushes like mac 242 and had no issues picking up there multi chrome shades.
I wonder if I could help. I formulate myself. I have my own indie brand launching and I can take a look at the ingredients and if you don’t mind, will you also find a palette of similar type of indie shades that has Multichromes, shimmers and mattes that DOES NOT cause irritation. I am wondering if there’s ingredients not listed on their labels and what I can find about the formulation. Bc there’s another issue, if I’m the process of creating the shades, if not done right it may create a dif chemical, similar but enough of a change to cause problems. There’s multiple chemical reactions in making eyeshadows and each step must be done correctly to make a final product that is as desired. Even so much as the ph being off or not acidic enough for a part of the process can make a dif chemical all together. Please let me know I’m pretty damn sure I know what manufacturers they are using. I make my own products but I have to buy the actual components. In the process of finding the best of the best pigments and ingredients (took forever to find ingredients that are ethical and renewable able to trace the source)and in the process I’ve found labs selling these exact shades and type for pricing that I have no idea how they do it. They must be using the cheapest pigments and a lot of fillers. There’s also a lot of shady things about these particular labs and manufacturers that I found scary. They didn’t want to answer the ingredients and the type of process. So I wonder about the actual listing of ingredients I was also warned by my supplier anyway about particular labs and how to spot them. She’s a Chinese woman who says she doesn’t trust them. She only sells the ingredients not the shades so I know she’s not their competitor which is credible (all micas and specialty micas are processed in China. Even when it’s mined other places. They have the manufacturing down to a science and it’s pressurized to make multichromes etc. so I just wanted to explain that China is not a bad thing, in fact even sellers in the US just buy from the Chinese distributors and say it’s American. Any shades are third party don’t be fooled. China is not the issue, the shady factories that are there are. They make the bad name for everyone there)
I believe your experience and you should let the brand know about the eye irritation but I love my own palette! I've heard the reformulated version is even better. I do feel like you should express your experience to the brand (I realize I'm posting to an older video though).
I was looking at their Secret Garden palette, but it's too big for my tastes. Good to know about their matte formulas being weak because I'm picky about mattes. I like a lot of pigementation, like how the Melt mattes are super saturated. I'm sorry this palette was a bust for you :( It's heartbreaking when the formula doesn't live up to the awesome color story.
Oden's Eye doesn't receive bad or middle of the road reviews from creators, but receives mixed/poor reviews from customers. I stopped following a certain creator because she pushed the brand so much. I was going to buy some of their palettes, but wasn't convinced of the quality.
@@mallorykreiger Yes, she has had several. At one point there were rumors she was an investor/part owner of the company. No evidence was found to support this though.
@@LaurenWithTheLaurelCrown that sounds like it may be Angie since she’s also Swedish and receives all PR/multiple collabs over the years & had a recent single shade named after her? I have some fantastic Oden's Eye palettes--I love Hela and Christmas Eve--but some formulas in some palettes are strangely dry and glitter-powdery.
