Love the waking up before sunrise and getting the run in. Great way to start the day. You mentioned running intervals and curious as to what those intervals are?
That's what it's all about! You have to have to some fun while you're out there! Regarding the intervals, super simple but challenging! In this exercise I'm running primarily in heart rate zone 2 (133-152 bpm) and then running intervals of zone 3 (153 - 171 bpm). The goal is to accumulate 10-30 minutes of zone 3 running within the session. Pace isn't important as the focus is on heart rate.
Hey! Thanks for the sub! Gave you one back as well! I just did my first marathon last November! They're definitely challenging but well worth it. Good luck with training.

@@DQuinlin Great! I've been meaning to learn more about heart rate zone training vs pace as I've heard much more about it recently
Impressive work!
Thank you!
Great training dude. Good luck with the journey 👌
Thanks! Good luck to you as well! Always great meeting new people in the community
Hi! Found your channel just now and subbed. I'm not trying to do a triathlon, just the marathon for me haha. All the best with prep!
