I really like the shots around 32:58 on where the camera person captures Son holding Nhi (in the foreground) and helping her to eat while (in the back) mother and Huong are removing the jelly cakes from their molds. It's a lovely video from the way everyone in your family works together harmoniously to the way you're so thoughtful and sweet with the neighborhood's children. Many of them look like they're almost the same age, some are barely old enough but they already take care of their younger siblings. Some need sandals on their feet.
What is the plant that Son collects to dry and cook into a dark liquid? That plant gives the jelly a unique flavor or aroma to make the Thien Thao cake so special. Biting into a combination of sweet black jelly and mung bean paste mixed with fresh coconut shavings, it must taste cool and delicious. Mother even mentions of eating it with crushed ice. Yummy!
