Summary versionです。先にＵＰしてある動画を一本にまとめて編集し直しました。顧問の先生のMC部分も長めに編集してみました。

I believe I have figured out how the girl playing the timbales gets so much power into her playing during sing sing sing. She does it by standing on her Chippi tippy toes.

たった１年ちょっと前の動画なのにすごく懐かしく感じます。と、同時に当時の２年生メンバーもこの春にはもう卒業という寂しさもまた感じます。１年ごとに顔ぶれが変わるのは学生吹奏楽部の宿命とはいえ、年末の定演が終わって年が明けたこの時期に橘の動画を見ると毎年の事ながら、出来る事ならこのメンバーでいつまでも･･･とつい思ってしまいます(^^;)

Yours is a very astute observation. What you see is a most obvious CULTURAL difference. In Japan, public exhuberance is frowned upon (except by young children).
Look at the streets in Kyoto as Tachibana marches. The streets are filled with anxious onlookers but they do not smile. They do not laugh. It appears that many of the onlookers are even frowning! This is a Japanese norm. In Japan, it is not appropriate to show one's emotions in public. It seems inconceivable to us as americans. How can those Japanese onlookers restrain their exhuberance?
On the other hand, observe the crowds at Disneyland or the Rose Parade in the USA. The american onlookers are smiling, clapping and laughing ... going crazy! We Americans LOVE Tachibana! There is no dearth of exhuberance in USA for Tachibana.
Tachibana members are the most illustrious ambassadors of Japan. What other Japanese product can outshine Tachibana?
I find it curious that nearly all "Tachibanaism" is from Western Civilization:
1) music ( early American, Disney, etc)
2) Uniforms (no Kimonos)
3) all instruments are from Western Civ
Yet, I am convinced that NO western country can build a group that can even come close to matching Tachibana.
Tachibana is unique and I am grateful for their stellar example to the whole world.

We simply lack the penchant for perfection and the willingness to sacrifice most of our free time. What Tachibana does is serious hard work, and that's what most people in Western countries just discourage. But Tachibana also show that they never lose their fun after all this hard work.
We (the western countries) are just too lazy or too comfortable to build a Band like Tachibana. 😌
That's it what makes Tachibana (even Japan) unique.

ジョイントコンサートのフルUP、なつかしいですね、先にフルUPされた2017.10/9のコンサート分を含め
私の中では時期的な欠員があっても、部員さん一人一人の個性や、奏でる音や、笑顔に、懸命さを感じる
動画でした、10/9のコンサートも部員さん全員のパワー感を感じさせてくれた素晴らしい動画でしたね、
ありがとうございます、部員さんにも元気をいただき大感謝です。
あとからキュートな部員さんも続くことでしょうが、ほんとに貴重な映像だと思います。(^^♪

Salut. Why is there no much applaus after a title? This Band is great!!! I don t understand why people are not more reactive! Probably culture. Any way. Great and Happy new year for Tachibana SHS and all Japan. Lots of happiness to every Artists of the band and their family. Ja Né
This seems more of a formal presentation where a simple applause is expected unlike at a parade where you can cheer your head off.
