I remember the moment, when I was 12 years old, that I put 2 and 2 together, and realized that the guy I'd had a massive crush on for the past couple of years was the same guy who had been bullying my friend at summer camp. I could never smile at him again.
I had a crush on a Christian guy in my youth group. I never went forward on it because I am a hundred pounds over weight and have baggage from childhood trauma (I am getting help for it now, but I repressed it for years so it’s definitely a work in progress lol) However, last year, I was in our weekly youth group meeting that meets on Wednesday nights, when suddenly we heard a car crash happen on that bottom of our hill. We were shocked for a moment, then some clueless chimed in that “well hey, we’ll know it’s an actual emergency if we hear an ambulance lol” that shocked me awake. We were in a town that had no hospital, and was about a 30+ minute drive ether way to cities with hospitals. There would be no ambulance if someone was in critical. Looking around, everyone was just settling back down. I probably wouldn’t have acted if someone else did, because I only absorbed half a cpr course (from which no one got their license that year) but I couldn’t just ignore what happened when someone could be in critical down there. So I stood and said I was going, and made for the door. First red flag, everyone started screaming “nononononononono” at me. I’m a really introverted person, so this shocked the living heck out of me. It took me a moment to shove through that shock and go “Someone might be in need, I need to go see if I can help at all, I’m going.” “Oh, well not that door. It’s rigged to the fire alarm.” 🤯 “R U kidding me??! You tell me now??” I ran up and out of the room by the normal church entrance, much later than if they hadn’t intervened like that. It wasn’t really eventful. It was night time, so I wanted to be quick. I jogged down the hill (the big scary 10 seconds down the hill oh no) and surveyed the scene from the edge of the intersection. The only guy who was maybe hurt had his head on his car hood like he had a headache, so maybe a concussion, but chest compressions can’t help that. So I just called out to see if they needed help that I couldn’t see. They just replied no they were fine, so I jogged back up the hill. I thought that would be the end of the incident and got back into the youth room, quickly telling that everything should be okay. All of a sudden, like a freaking nightmare, everyone in the room starts calling me Sacrilegious. Every single person, from the substitute youth leader (guy several years older than us) to my own brother, called me Sacrilegious for daring to run out on O holy youth group to ensure everyone would be okay. How dare I? I felt disgusting and vile, and tried pathetically asking them to stop it. The worse was when I realized my crush of all people, was yelling along with them. I looked at him and saw the ugliest man alive for once. I never went back to that youth group again. I told my mother, who was steamed and just reminded me to think about what would Jesus do, which she and I are positive that Jesus would go to the intersection to make sure everyone would be alright. My father was far less understanding and still tries to make me go back to youth group. Too bad I’m actually an adult now, and choose not to hang around with a bunch of vipers.

i had a crush on this guy for a solid 4 months, and we had become decent friends, and one day we were talking about relationships and he told me he had dated over 25 girls in his life (he’s 15) and that he just gets bored really fast and moves on to another girl. the crush went away very soon after that.
Well, today she intentionally rammed into me at a stop sign and totalled my grandma's car while we were on the way to our college class, so I guess that would be it. Nah I'm just kidding, the brakes on her car went out and it was an honest accident. We were acquaintances in high school from our physics class and she was super nice about the whole situation, but I'll probably just tease her a little about it though. The real funny part was that we were both headed to the same community college campus and going to the same psychology course (except for different professors).
He was legitimately stupid. Stupidity is not an attractive trait. He didn't follow world news or current events or important political developments. He didn't care about history or science or literature. Nothing. But by the time I found out how stupid he was, he liked me back but I didn't like him then so I just told him it was best if we didn't hang out anymore.
Hung out once with a coworker, said she wanted to hang again, exchanged numbers. Texted her a few days later if she was free the following weekend. Never replied and acted like nothing was wrong the next time I saw her at work. I avoided her like the plague after that.
I'd like to preface by saying that I never told my crush that I liked him because I wasn't interested in dating. One day he stayed over at my house because he's friends with my brother and the three of us were in the car together and he was sitting there gushing about his 15 year old girlfriend (he was 19) and that grossed me out.
Told him about my cat with a minor brain injury and partial blindness but is fine and healthy, asked if I should have her "put down" instant elimination of attraction
I came out to my crush as pansexual. Went down like this. Me: Yeah im pansexual Him: what does that mean Me: it’s basically liking people regardless of gender. Doesn’t play a factor in my attraction. Him: oh so your bisexual Me: no I’m pansexual, bisexual is completely different My friend: yeah my friend who is bisexual says that gender plays a role in her attraction Me: exactly Him: well to me you’re just bisexual (laughs) Me: (in my head) I know he did not just say that to me
I don't have any crush but in our class there was a girl who was psychopath ,one day she followed her crush and the person she loved was a play boy shit btw then she moved to another city lol
This girl never answered my request for a date, after ignoring her and deletinnher off friends list, she messages me as if she figured out I wanted nothing with her, saying "I'm sorry I've been so busy with work, there's no excuse for leaving you out in the dark like this, I miss you. " Did not respond, and she's moved on now, so good thing I didnt waste my time.
One girl I met was really pretty but had "I'm not like other girls" syndrome, would not stop talking about herself in an "oh woe is me" kind of way, super entitled, and ended up getting arrested for stealing.
In my case (one anyway), I learned the guy was a big phony. First instance came when he had revealed a musical interest that I later asked him about. He said he no longer cared about that group because they got "too popular." There was something inauthentic about that and it gnawed at me. Later, I saw how he had seemed to declare some kind of undying love for a woman he stayed abroad an extra year to be with but upon returning to campus and seeing she couldn't transfer and stay, he was banging someone else within maybe weeks or so. Even later, he found that the new couple couldn't stay in the Peace Corp together unless they maried so they did. I guess I can't blame the female tot he extent that she knew he'd throw her overboard if they weren't in the same place, but I was rather disgusted by him by then and wondering why this woman didn't run for the hills. Guess he was good in bed or something. I never saw him the same way I once did well before the Peace Corp unromantic marriage thing. I guess the woman learned never to leave him for long or her having kids kept him in place. Or not. No clue. Just checked his bio (he has a public profile; not huge but google finds him). It mentions two teenage girls but no wife. Not sure but the odds are that the marriage didn't last, either 'cause he cheated or she discovered he had only a shallow commitment to her.
