The relentless push for maximum profits has little to do with a desire to allow visitors to see a show. We have all gotten too used to various employee abuses in the name of 'customer convenience'. Customers, voracious consumers of every sort of thing, would welcome some time off! In retail, 'closing early' on holidays...often at 6 or 7 PM...gives no time to cook, to travel...to enjoy. Your point is well taken: the producers and higher ups have the time off! A Merry and a Happy to you both!
