I don't understand why people are giving this shoe a hard time , it's basically the same materials from the off white 5's 🤷🏾why aren't people keeping the same energy. I think they are 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥. Always appreciate Buckets 💯💯💯

Don't get me wrong I like this shoe and don't understand why people don't like them either but the Off White 5s are made of rip stop. These are plastic mesh.

I’ve been digging these new colorways recently. I usually cop og colorway sneakers, royal ones, fire red 5s, infrared air max 90s. But I’ve bought the pollen 1s, the seafoam 1s, copping some 1 mids this week, now these. These are an amazing beater shoe and will age well 100%. Im sure price will go up later on too. not that it matters but just saying cop now while they’re cheap if you didn’t get them for retail
At first I wasn't so sure about this release but I really like them,the mesh upper goes well along the upper.

Yeah they do have kind of an off white vibe too & YES you don't expect to like these as much till you got'em on hand. These can be worn with kaqui pant, grey jeans, dark blue jeans, black jeans, among others. The ankle material feel stronger than it looks & that glitter backwards Air Jordan inside the tongue make them stand out from other 5 retros. I give them a 10+ Jordan brand killed it again in a good way.

I'm looking out for a pair of these. 5's are always somewhat underrated imo. 1's, 4's, and 3's usually get more shine than 5's.
1s 4s and 3s are a doper model than 5s.
5s definitely hit different and hit hard
Also 5s are actually really comfortable compared to 4s, 3s, and 1s.
Simple and very clean. Sometimes not overdoing it is the best option and these shouldn't resale for much. With the netting being mesh there's no yellowing. Agree 7 out of 10.
Clean looks, sail & orange one of the best combination.... surely like to cop them for personals.

Just got mine in the mail today. Damn these are 🔥. Gonna be a definite banger in a few years.
I like the mesh netting and sail outsole. No owner will have to replace the netting once it ages and no need as well to de-yellow the sole after 5 years.

I agree with your point that opinions change from seeing pictures to holding shoes in hand. I was really disappointed with these tbh. My omni lite pumps have a nicer leather than these and are way more comfortable. I never owned a Jordan 5 and was pretty excited to get these but for me they were a letdown.

These are amazing 👌🏻 but for some reason in the U.K. they are expensive £180 (around $250 that’s retail) so I’m on the fence and its draw on SNKRS so probably be an L anyway 🤔

I think the purpose of this shoe with the netting is so that when that netting eventually yellows the colours won’t be out of place with the orange of the shattered backboard. I look forward to the aged look.
Was thinking that when i saw them. This is def a shoe that will age well.
