Thank you! I'm so happy she's finished. Just a bit intimidated by framing her as she'll be the largest things I've attempted to self frame. Fingers crossed it all goes ok 🤞
Good to see you again, Lauren! Your finishes were very beautiful. I love the progress on your alphabet, it's so colorful and cute, I hope you have a wonderful month of March. And can't wait to see you soon.
Thank you Lynn, I'm really happy with how the owl is looking so far, can't wait to finish him. Not sure which bird to do second though, whether to work left or right. I think it would be nice to do the robin to have a bit of a break from so much brown 😊
Just posted a long comment and lost it! Just wanted to say I agree with you about ‘over one’ versus ‘over two’ skin on fancy ladies, I don’t think it improves the finish much. I think people just now feel semi obliged to do it as it seems ‘cleverer’ to do it. All about peer pressure these days! The only time I’ve seen a real difference is on a couple of Lavender and Lace, where Marilynn Leavitt-Imblum charted almost photographic faces on a few of her designs….but some people have said they look creepy! Can’t please all of the people etc etc!
Yes I think I definitely felt pressure to do it that way on some that I've already started just because it seems to be the thing to do, but I really think I enjoy stitching them more when I just do it over 2. I'll carry on with the ones I've started and not frog, but I think for new starts I'll be sticking mostly to over 2 ☺️ I might give it another go at some point, maybe on some that have very limited skin showing, but I can't imagine myself ever bothering for example on a mermaid with vast expanse of bare skin 😵 too much work!
Snow Maiden looks so beautiful. Love your Irish blessing it’s finished beautifully.
Congrats on the FFO, it's beautiful. Your fancy lady finish is stunning! That's a big accomplishment. Always good to catch up with you.
Snow maiden is gorgeous!😍😍 Enjoyed your video.😊
Your Snow Maiden is absolutely breathtaking 🤩
