Pretty much everything in this music video the outfits, the props, the hand gestures, the seating arrangements are references to older BTS music videos. If you guys aren't aware BTS recently announced they will be taking a break from making music as a group and will focus on solo projects for the time being. They aren't disbanding and will still work on projects together other than music like their show Run BTS, but the music focus will be solos. J-Hope is performing at Lollapalooza next month and releasing his solo album, Jungkook has a collab with Charlie Puth called Left and Right on June 24th. So we have 7 solo albums to look forward to. They were actually supposed to do solo work after their world tour back in 2020 but with the pandemic they postponed it in hopes they would still get to tour but unfortunately it didn't happen. And with military enlistment quickly approaching for Jin the oldest member it's an opportunity for all of them to explore their own personal artistry and have their own personal time before they have to enlist. In BTS very first music video from 2013 called No More Dream started with them on the school bus and now they are back on it. It's a closing to BTS first chapter as BTS, and their new album is an anthology album not necessarily a greatest hits album. Please react to Run BTS and For Youth which are also new songs on the album. Also Born Singer is great if you haven't heard it yet.

the school bus was their debut song no more dream, so they’re going back to the start for their next journey. Yes everything was an homage !!!!! And at the end on the school bus they replicated the end of spring day !!

Only armys will really understand this Mv because this was a homage to all their previous works and every scene has a reference. Here are all the references you missed (in the order as you move through the mv) :
- The sea sounds waves in the song is related to the lyrics from the song "Sea"
- the formation they are sitting in is the "Just one day" formation
- The shot of the truck is similar to the one from the BTS: on stage prologue
- Jin instead of looking down looks up : reference to life goes on mv
- Tae's outfit and rose is reminiscent of "Boy in Luv (he is wearing a uniform)
- Jin's outfit is from the DNA era
- the same merry go round from "Spring day" "You never walk alone" was also the anthem shared in memory of all the lives lost due to the Sewol Ferry Tragedy in Korea. In their debut song 'No more Dream' they got off the school bus. You are right that they are looking back reflecting on the past....they are looking right back to where they started. By getting back on the bus they are saying that chapter of their lives is done. When they get off the bus again after their well deserved haitus they will be starting a new chapter. I think they deserve a rest as they have worked nonstop since 2010 to bring us the best music ever. I hope they have fun and get to do what they want for a while so they return refreshed and full of inspiration for their future productions. I for one am excited to see what's next. 💜

As sad as some are for BTS taking a break as a group, the rest, like myself is excited to see what really come next with them all. We're not loosing the guys we're gaining a new adventure with all seven of them.

Jungkook standing infront of the never walk alone ride is a resemble of the "Spring day" MV of BTS. Basically there is alot of resembles of their past song MVs like... Run, spring day, no more dream, blood sweat and tears, blue and grey etc many songs.

They came to ARMY on a school bus and they left on one. In the festa dinner party there was a really bad mistranslation. BTS are not on hiatus what Suga said was we are off season which is not the same. Journalists and some army latched on the mistranslation and now there's a problem in the fandom so much that RM felt so angry he wrote a letter dispelling any rumours about the hiatus nonsense. They will each take time to have some fun and experience things they missed out on due to the restraints of the kpop world which is so different to western artists and the freedom to do what they want. They will still film Run BTS and other things together so they haven't disbanded. What broke my heart watching the festa dinner was how they had been holding all this in because they were scared to disappoint ARMY'S. I could never be disappointed in them. I can't wait to see what they do and then when they come back together again it will be epic and I can't wait

In one of their albums, there is a ghost track called SEA they made for army. It plays exactly 1 minute or so after the "last song" and the music is about how they came from nothing (sand) and they are going to the sea but they are afraid, but the sea when they get there can again become nothing (sand once again). This music video where they are in the desert (there was an actual sand storm in the video).. you can hear at the end in the bus they have finally reached the sea (you can hear the ocean) and they are going forward even in fear they are officially bullet proof. Army is their proof, and they are our bullet (helping us get through life). Together, we are bulletproof (words of RM)

Yep BTS will start official promotions on their solo activities while remaining active as a group. They also said through a dinner talk to armys that theyre very stressed and under pressure abt how big this has become and theyre burned out. So they will kickstart solo stuff starting with Jhopes album next month, JK will release a collab with charlie puth followed by all members releasing their albums. They will continue extra content as a grp and will make music as a grp slowly and release them later

honestly y’all are my fav reaction channel. i just love how attentive you are to every detail and how relevant your analysis are. for example for the big statue you remembered that you saw it in « blood sweat and tears » and that’s what i like about you guys !! you don’t just listen and say if you like it or not but you’re really paying attention to everything.
