Dadisa asks Anandi to prepare pickle for Gehna on a bright sunny day to keep her away from studies. Anandi is almost done when Sumitra enters and informs Dadisa that Anandi is menstruating. Dadisa gets extremely angry at her and throws away the pickle. She shouts at Anandi and tells her to not go to the kitchen and temple. She also asks her to stay in her room for the whole time and sleep on the floor. Jagya is puzzled when Anandi refuses for everything.
The original clutter breaker of Indian TV, Balika Vadhu, leads the pack when it comes to socially relevant shows. The journey of the show began with a focus on child marriages and over time, has progressed to woman empowerment. Destiny now seems to hold a terrible twist for the show's protagonist, Anandi, as her own daughter may face a similar fate- A Child Marriage.
