Hi I've got mk5 but do you know how to find new cable from the latch? my looks like one core it's little broken... Actually my indicators doesn't flash when I'm closing. Changed lock-nothing changed. Fused checked. Thinking maybe that cable is the issue. Greetings-Tom.

The type of bit required for these bolts is called a M8 triple square, not a torx.

Metal lever on the back (new lever is plastic) that was the thing stopped the new one working until we pressed the lever

Thanks this helped me out, my boot latch bolts somehow worked them selves loose so I had to remove the panel to tighten it back up, all done 👍🏻
