Believe it or not I've been using Excel for 10+years in engineering and have learned things from both of your Excel videos. Thanks so much for taking the time to make these
Thanks for the videos, they were really helpful. Thought to mention a point here. From the list of topics you covered 5. Capitalise EVERY letter of the WORD in excel can be done using =upper() formula. where as 6. Capitalise only FIRST letter of the WORD can be done using = proper() formula
hi i want to know if this also works in excel 2007. i tried to get the sum of two cells from different sheets and my answer is zero. i did the correct formula don't know why i get the answer zero.. please reply.. thank you..
THANK YOU!!!! I hope this isn't a redundant question. I coach track and need to format for cumulative time rather than clock time. I've tried all the different number formats, but can't quite find the perfect fit. Can you help?
To: ILan Patao I am totally new to Excel. I want to use it load up Google Keywords in a list in descending order of Average Monthly Volume. Do you have a video that covers that? Please advise . Thanks Dick
=randbetween(0,100) will do whole numbers that you specifiy, in my example 0 -100 and =rand() will be a random number * your value, so it will include decimal vaules
In regards to the RANDOM function where you were trying to copy and paste then REMOVE the DUPLICATES, but because they were not whole numbers you were having an issue. (I'm sure you just didn't have the time to go into detail on how to solve this). But some people, watching your video, might wonder how they can actually do this. All you need to do is go to the B column, and in cell B1 use the formula =ROUND(A1,0) then drag that formula down. That will give you the whole numbers (numbers without fractions) for all the numbers in the A column, within the B Column.. Then you can copy and paste the B Column over to the C Column (make sure to only Paste Values). Then you can use the Remove Duplicates function in the C Column. There might even be an easier way than this, but it's very quick this way. By the way, I love your video. You explain everything in a very simple way, which is great for beginners.
I'm not so sure #5 and #6 are the same question. Is there a way to capitalize entire words (after they have already been typed in lower case)? Are you able to capitalize all of the letters in a cell, column, or row after they were written in lower case?
Great teacher! Love the videos. ...simple, easy to understand language, and examples are excellent!
