For those who saw this concert I’m jealous, Secondly this show broke so many barriers in music, 1986 Jarre throw every piece of technology to perform this breathtaking gig, this should be on BluRay, 8:30 1.3million, later it was more at 1.5milllion people, I had this vhs copy and many more, but I transferred everything to the old dvd, which I still play today, the album is a beautiful piece of music, Jarres concerts are on UA-cam 👏🏻👍🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
That must have been totally amazing to have attended this concert!! Saw him in London O2 recently and it blew me away. But the have been at such a large gathering could only have been mindblowing!!
I was at the washout that was Destination Docklands, on the second night in 1988. Musically it was great, but despite the visuals, it somehow failed to take off - a situation probably worsened by the atrocious English wind and (horizontal) rain!
1986 was a big (excessive?) year for gigantic synth-based concerts. You guys had Tomita from a barge the Hudson River and in Battery Park New York City in September, this was in April. They didn't do things by halves in the eighties!!

@TheHoustonerica Thank you! :-) I am sorry about the wow and flutter of the ancient VHS video tape I had to work from.
I have to wonder if this is where U2 got the Zoo TV tour ideas from, giant screens, flashing graphic art onto them, etc.
