- Great news for all you Muppets fans out there! Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy, Fozzie Bear and The Great Gonzo arrive at Magic Kingdom Park on October 2 for the opening of their all-new, live show “The Muppets Present… Great Moments in American History.” Hosted by James “J.J.” Jefferson, town crier of Liberty Square, and Sam Eagle, the fiercely patriotic American eagle who is forever trying to set a high moral standard for the Muppets, this wacky new show is set to take place several times daily, just outside The Hall of Presidents.
Throughout the day, J.J. and the Muppets share their own unique take on the founding fathers as they recount the tale of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, complete with an original song and plenty of humor. At other times, you may catch the Muppets’ version of the midnight ride of Paul Revere, presented in hysterical fashion as only they can.

Very well done. I was worried when I heard about this but it does a good job of combining the Muppets silliness with history.

love the muppets. didnt know how this would be though. Looks pretty cool though. would luv to see more muppets at hollywood studios maybe.
I'm trying not to watch this because I want to see it live in December but I also don't want to wait. Can't look away...I love the Muppets!

I love the Muppets and America! This show brought both to the light! Too bad they discontinued the show but hopefully they will bring it back or use the Muppets in more attractions. Also, this song is soooo catchy and I need to know where I can find the soundtrack!

Well after just 3 years playing, this show is now closing Saturday Oct 5th 2019. I kind of liked this show. They need more Muppets at Disney.

It's a tad jarring to see Miss Piggy covered with fleece rather than flocked, but it makes sense since exposed foam would deteriorate faster if exposed to the elements.
I wonder if it's anamatronics or puppeteers (muppeteers?)!
Luckily, muppeteers. Obviously, prerecorded but I still love that people are up there.

_Honestly, no offense to Disney World, but these puppets look so cheap compared to the official ones. I understand that they probably can’t use the actual ones, but I’ve seen custom builds that look harder worked on than these._ *C‘mon, Disney! You can do better than this!*
Who else agrees? Just look at terry angus, or mjl puppet designs. They make this kinda sorta look like crap (to be frank with it).
